Pours a clear straw yellow, good head, but thin lace disappear halfway through drink.
Big grassy aroma at first. Halfway through, this aroma fades and I detect a small amount sweet malt and alcohol.
Crisp and tingly carbonation. Light and refreshing mouthfeel. Taste of mostly sweet toasted malts with a little hops finish for balance. My only issue is that the crisp feel looses its essence because as the drink warms, the carbonation fades too quickly.

Bright straw color with strong activity. Foamy white sparkly 3 finger head lasting around 5 minutes with average legs.

Aromas and flavors of grains, citrus, corn, herbal spices. Faint grainy, skunky, and metallic smell. Sweet grainy, lemony, and apple taste with slightly bitter hoppy grassy feel.

Almost medium body with prickly carbonation. Faint finish of medium length ending with herbal spicy smoky bitter saaz feel lingering on the tongue creating dryness.

Overall a poor craft with good freshness that is destroyed by a dry finish, and faint flavors that doesn't taste very good.

My first Russian beer \ lager and I must say, great stuff !

Perfectly carbonated when poured, the bubbles stick sound for a while, the color is a light gold, typical pilsner style look. Great head, which doesn't stick around to long (this might be due to me being inpatient!)
Great smell, there is something to it I honestly can't describe, but it is the best smelling lager I've ever come across!
Smooth and clean taste with a crisp aftertaste which sticks around for a while which I love, very enjoyable. Easy to drink

Anyone who hadn't yet it I can only recommend ;-)

More brew from the local Carulla. Like the easy pop top, let's give it a whirl. Popping the easy pop top that is like a champagne pop, I get a big European classic adjunct lager whiff. Pours to a bright light yellow with huge bubble three finger head. Taste is uneventful, dry biscuity malt with limited bitterness. An easy drinker. Should go good with the sushi it is about to accompany.

A: too pale, straw

S: like a pilsner

T: great for a cheap, imported lager

M: decent, less decent aftertaste

O: found this guy at BevMo, cheap exotic to me, I'll likely be back

Probably the better of the Baltika numbered beers. This one is crisp, refreshing, and much closer to a Euro Pale Lager or even a pilsner than a Dortmunder.

Goodness me, what on earth is this stinker? Well, an acquaintance brought this over and he didn't know any better. Still, I am one to be very much looking in the mouth of a gift horse.
