Traded for this a while ago, as the date on the bottom of the can read 3/27/17 with "MUCH LOVE!" written above it. Never had a beer from Levante Brewing before and I couldn't even see the "SO. PAC." on top of the Hop Cartel on the label as it took me a while to figure out what I was even drinking. With that being said, this was a very complex beer once it warmed up as it was equal parts juicy and dry as well as having a bitterness that was tough to pinpoint...

Not a bad pour to this as the beer poured a deep mango with plenty of head to top it off. Lots of of lacing was left behind with hints of rings visible in it if I looked hard enough! A ton of passionfruit and gooseberry in the taste along with soft hops, yeast, and a rich fruit cocktail. Dry on the palate and chock full of a full range of fruit flavors, this had a lot going for it but the flavors were quite subtle and took a while for me to fully detect. Lots of deep pine and deep forest characterized the mouthfeel which went with an underlying pine that gave this all the dankness that it needed. Soft, southern hemisphere hops gave this a feel like the best beers that I've had from SingleCut and held my attention to the last sip, making this American Imperial IPA feel so accessible...

There was enough booze in this but you wouldn't know it unless you looked at the label. No burn, metallic twinge, or earthiness as the body felt as dry and soft as white wheat and the range of flavors invited me to crack another can of this open. Of course, I couldn't but I was so glad to give it a go as this felt like a gentle breeze on a South Pacific Island, that never let up throughout my time with this!

Tall can, with a sticker

Pours clouded, moderate whispy cap, low sheeting and fields of lacing.

Tropical fruity nose, ripe pineapple

Tasty DIPA, soft tropical fruity goodness. heady and delicious.....nice job here by LBC on this NE style DIPA...worthy

Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a slightly hazy golden body with some nice lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, floral hops, and ever so slight pine. Taste mirrors nose somewhat and very nice on the palate with a nice piney bitter finish. Nice feel and overall a nice job from West Chester, PA. Cheers!

Pours a murky brownish yellow with a huge rocky head. Looks like the bottom of the Brew kettle after you’ve racked off the beer and are left with trub.

Moderate hop aromas: I get orange or tangerine peel, strawberry, mint tea. Some doughy malt notes.

Light to moderate upfront bitterness with a dose of hop flavors rounded out by smooth mouthfeel. Some pine & citrus hop notes (orange notes) and some light dank character. Some say you drink with your eyes and this is not a plus for this beer. God forbid they put flour in this beer! (Please tell me no!)

A little disappointed with this beer. Heard good things coming from Levante. I hope their other beers live up to the hype. This one is a miss for me.
