A - Clear copper color with a long lasting frothy head.

S - Malty aromas accompanied by some slight hop and fruit aromas.

T - Caramel, toffee, bready malt flavors accompanied by a good hop flavor and a good bitterness. A very slight diacetyl flavor, but okay for style.

M - Medium body, good carbonation, refreshing.

Very good beer, it achieves a great balance of malt and hop flavors. Good body very refreshing beer.

This was easily the best beer I had all weekend or maybe second behind dillon dam's brown ale

Poured caramel with red tinges & 1/2" of sand colored head. Great lacing & average head retention

S: Biscuitty malt & caramel

T: Big breadyness up front along with caramel. Some herbal & leafy hops fight through as this warms. Finishes with a bit of fruittyness & loads of biscuitty malt

MF: Medium-bodied with great balance & near perfect carbonation, a touch too gassy

Drank very easy could easily session on this all night

ON tap at the Glenwood brewpub. Pours amber with a long lasting white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of caramel, ripe fruit and earthy hops. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is similar to aroma. Medium, dry finish. On the whole it is nice brew.

This beer poured and amber reddish color with a nice lace and smelled very citruisy and tasted of bitter malts and hops that were unimpressive. The beer was drinkable but lacked a finish i would finish drinking it and have no aftertaste. Give this one a shot its worth a try but definatly not there best beer.

This is one of Glenwood’s best beers. Normally I am not a real fan of ESB's, but this was a very good, excellent tasting beer. Some foam, and lacing, a citrus aroma, and an initial taste of malt and hops. The curve on flavor shoots up on first taste, then the malt and thick body caress the tastebuds - but the only thing I would change is the finish. It just drops out. There is a dry memory left on the palate, and it invites one to drink more, but no lasting flavors endure. But I would try this beer again.
