This is the house beer at Fells Point's new Ale Mary's bar, contracted from Old Dominion. They have an interesting tap handle--a pair of praying hands. (which turned out to be very ironic, given that it was the day the pope died...)
Appearance: A brownish orange, with a golden hint and a bit of chill haze. No devestatingly large head, but sufficient lacing that stays throughout.
Smell: Raw hop leaves, grains, and a bit of something floral.
Taste: Well balanced, yet tipped slightly into the hop bitterness category. The hops are stinging when you first drink the brew, and you do get just a touch of bitter belches. There is a very smooth, creamy, and bread laden malt undertone that holds up well. The hops tip the balance scale on the back end of the flavor profile. Citric floral hops finish, giving a slightly acidic and dry feeling.
Overall: Yet another well crafted, tasty brew from Old Dominion. Tastes just like a super fresh and hopped up SNPA. Great style, flavor, and feel.

Excellent pale ale served at Ale Mary's in Baltimore. I would classify this as closer to an India Pale Ale. Big aroma and taste. Very pretty dark copper color with a firm, tan head.
Strong hop smell as well as taste. Nice balance with malt and residual sugar. Very smooth and drinkable.
The "house ale" at Ale Mary's and could be described as a session ale.
