Appears a ruby copper color that is clear.
Light foamy head with a loose structure that's quick to fade.
There's some floaters in there too.

Aroma is mostly of caramel malts with hops playing not much of a factor.

Malty tasting and bitter. Hops seem to be absent here even though it seems to be aggresively hopped according to the website.

Medium body generic beer.

A: pours a hazy copper into a pilsner glass with half a finger of khaki head that leaves some spotty lacing.

S: oranges, citrus, caramel, a bit of pine and very sweet.

T: a good sweet IPA, oranges, pines and great caramel malt backbone a lot of lemons and oranges.

MF: good medium body, a tad astringent and very crisp.

O: a good good beer and IPA. I would put it in my lineup of favorite "sweeter styled" IPAs, not a hop bomb but good.

On-tap at Barefoot Bernie's, Hagerstown MD. Served within 30 seconds from the tap.

A= amber-copper, nicely rimmed head when served which stayed for 5 minutes or more.

S= very hefty nose of hops, very West Coast, pine and citrus and a good amount of roasted caramel hops as well. Very nice.

T= much as promised by the nose, with nicely bittering hops although not as pine-dominated as expected from the nose ie rather nicely balanced yet complex and bold hops. Very bold toffee-roasted malts. Again, very nice.

M= again consistent with the nose and taste, balanced and no overwhelming or unbalanced traits.

O= a very impressive beer, in my experience. One I'll definitely seek out again. It went well with Maryland Crab Soup, Caesar Salad and a very cheese-generous Club Sandwich. It even did well when my younger son thought I wasn't looking when he dumped a generous dose of Tabasco into the last 2 ounces of the beer. I'd advise to go a little lighter on the Tabasco if you try it, but otherwise yet another interesting adventure.

A - Opaque cider with significant sediment. Bone white head has nice lace and retention.

S - Honey malt sweetness. Relatively subdued. Musky hop character.

T - Malt forward profile with notes of caramel and honey. Bitter herbal hop character with a dry, alpha oil bitter finish.

M - Medium-light body with nice carbonation.

Cask conditioned at Capone's.

Pours a dark golden amber color with burnt orange hues when held to a light source and a thin fizzy white head that quickly dissolves into a lasting ring. No lacing.

Slightly earthy hop aroma with subtle citrus peel notes. There's a strong sweet caramel malt presence in the nose and subtle creaminess. It seems like cask conditioning this beer has killedthe hops in the nose.

Sweet mal medium body with hints of caramel, toffe and biscuit as well as some slight creaminess and faint earthy/citrus hops. I'm not a big fan of cask conditioned IPAs because the process tends to kill the freshness and deliciousness of the hops. Unfortunately, that is the case her, resultig in an easy drinking overly malty beer with faint hop notes.
