Nice place with a cool patio, sit maybe 50 inside comfortable and easily more than that outside. A very worthy visit. I only tried the Stout and it was nice and dry with a decent taste.

Highly recommend, especially the back patio in the summer.

It is in downtown New London. There's ample inside seating, and a large outdoor seating area. I do like the feal of this place. It's got a cozy feel to me.

The brewery is just off of Main St next to the river. Pull up to the building and you see the old retriever posting up near the entrance. Start walking towards the door and he comes and greets the guests. Immediately this brewery scores major points with dog lovers. If it is intentional it's brilliant. The building is unassuming and old. I understand there is no real historic prominence and just word of mouth of the origins. A car dealership, auto repair shop, manufacturing, to eventually a craft studio before it was transformed into a brewery. They have a small 2 1/2 barrel system and a couple small fermenters that keep them busy turning beer over. The taproom seems to be decorated with the detritus of a dozen different families storage units. Best bar stools in a taproom however. The outdoor space is awesome. The property is adjacent to the river and small dam with plenty of trees, a lingonberry shrub right out the door and an apple tree. A large garden that is not currently being fully utilized. A stage for the musical acts. Nice they do not really have any residential neighbors. Looks like mosquitoes are a problem by the many cans of OFF sitting on the tables.
The beer ranges from pretty good to somewhat poor. During my visit they had a real nice Belgian style pale ale, a good clean amber ale, and a pretty good low ABV stout. Did not like the IPAs they had on. Those were very astringent. Does not seem they dry hop them either.
The owner/brewer was serving me and was friendly and eager to chat. Very good service. They serve either 10oz or 20oz glasses. Really nice glassware. Variety of swag available for purchase that seems of good quality. I bought a T-shirt.

Fun, fairly small taproom. 6 beers on tap. Pool table and foosball. Nice patio area in the back. Ample parking. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good prices ($3-5 per beer; 4 choice flights available too)
