Had it on tap at a Yardhouse in San Antonio. Poured into a pint glass, clear golden brown with excellent head and lacing. Malty and earthy smell and taste. Dark taste flavor, nice bitterness. Not bad.

Had it in a glass at Rustic. Head was thin, and faded quickly. Aroma was slight citrus and some malt. Looked like tea in the glass. Tasted of herbs, malt, and a little oak. Not much mouth feel. Pleasant but not satisfying.

First Southerleigh beer, had it in a pint glass at The Cove in San Antonio. Had a decent head, dark but not very complex or deep looking. Smelled nice, a hint of mint. Taste was good, subtle mint just like the smell, seemed pretty well balanced to my amateur senses. Moderately carbonated. All in all I'd like to try some other Southerleigh offerings.
