Dark yellow in color with a murky, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a tall, soapy, bright white foam with excellent retention. Sweet, fresh, fruity, citrussy aromas of orange lemon zest and pineapple. Medium malt aroma. Medium bodied with soft, medium high carbonation. Fabulous, delicate, creamy feel with light warmth at the finish. Solid medium malt flavor throughout. Fruity, citrus, orange, pineapple and lemon zest flavors up front. Medium light hop bitterness through the middle followed by malt a tangy citrus hop bitterness. Finished with a soft, creamy feel with light fruitiness and mellow hop bitterness. Well balanced with fantastic hop character, solid maltiness and a smooth, delicate feel. Very flavorful, aromatic, delicate, and easy drinking.

A: cloudy; pale gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a thin collar; very nice lacing;

S: white grapefruit with grapefruit pith;

T: nicely balanced; the finish is moderately bitter and all grapefruit;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: enjoyable, but, for me, there was a little too much malt in the flavor;

Very good beer for summer...
Very hoppy taste, almost remniscient of grapefruit juice, but works well despite that. Extremely refreshing, well worth a try if citrusy beers are your thing. 1.75 thumbs up!

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazed golden pour with thick foamy white head. Great lacing... sediment at the bottom of the pour.

S: Grapefruit juice and citrus. Straight up juice.

T/F: Follows the nose. Light malts... dank grapefruit... citrus rind and light tropicals. Very juicy... modest bitterness. Sticky on the tongue. Fairly light bodied with creamy carbonation.

O: A pretty typical grapefruit juice bomb NEIPA. Great flavor... super drinkable... really nicely done beer.

Beautiful cloudy pale yellow, lovely grapefruit and a little lemon aroma. Surprisingly rich mouthfeel given the overall style. Nice combination of IPA and sour.

Picked-up as part of a mixed fifteen-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about twenty dollars. Have had this beer before. Decent brew, not a huge fan of this hop strain.

Yellow, white foam. I dunno, drinking from the can.

Galaxy

Grapefruit and melon, fruit punch, some easy bitterness tacked on the end. Not what I expect from Galaxy but pleased.

Drier than expected, works well though.

A great tasting golden “Galaxy Pale Ale”, not too hot at 6.5%. My first beer from Lord Hobo. This beer makes me want to check out the others from this brewery!
