Glorious? Yes. Light and refeshinging more than I typically like but nice follow up to Pieces of 8. Fruity fo sure, so wizards will prefer it in mid summer. Hiking to a fine peak, well this will be a fine reward even if out of state for Vermont ;-). Enjoy mortals.

This is a lovely straw colored pale ale with lots of drinkability. It is very similar to a NEIPA so I am not sure why a pale ale, but its pours a very light but still opaque straw gold and has nice frothy white head which really bring the pleasant tropical aromas right to you. The first impression is a very crisp backbone with a creamy lactose mouthfeel and mouth puckering grapefruit and hints of kiwi and maybe a little pineapple too.
This is a very quaffable if not perfect beer. Not a first choice for me in this type of beer but it is a solid backup as it is easy to find here in the Boston area. As other reviews have pointed out, the finish is just a tad flat. In my experience, this happens when the beer is above a certain temperature. Best served ice cold and if you sip you might not like the second half as well as the first. An insulated drinking vessel solves the problem.

A great tasting golden “Galaxy Pale Ale”, not too hot at 6.5%. My first beer from Lord Hobo. This beer makes me want to check out the others from this brewery!

Pours a hazy whitish blonde hue into my glass. Light and airy with a strong dose of citrus in the nose. Guava and passionfruit come to mind. Excellent doughy malt base. Nice bitter finish. A good sense of balance and well worth a shot.

This has a lovely nose that suggests galaxy, but everything else is lacking - almost no flavor to speak of, a sort of cigarette butt bitterness. It's a flat yellow, with a faint head, a soft drinkable build. I think this beer really sucks.

I wonder if there isn't another strain of Galaxy out there, as this is the second MA 'galaxy' ale I've had that really suffered for having no particular flavor, but managing a lovely fruity nose.

Looks amazing, doesn't smell great. Up front the taste doesn't wow me. But as it warms the back end and aftertaste are amazing. Just about competes with anything like this style on the market that's easily attainable.

Good shit.

Very cloudy pour from 16 oz can. Never clears. Just murky yellow. Taste is thin and bitter with slight fruity smell. I was not impressed. Not a favorite.

16 oz can dated 6/27/17.
Murky opaque straw color with a finger's white head, dissapating to a ring and two islands.
Prominent citrus perfume. Some pineapple, mango.
Taste features grapefruit, lemon pith, tangerine.
Dry finish, lasting carbonation, nice balance.
Very enjoyable, will revisit.

I think this would've been a smidge better if it were fresh. Can is 2 months old but surprisingly still exceptional. Look, we can't get Trillium down in NJ. Not comparing, but this is a really nicely done brew. Fruit hints on the smell with nice Galaxy hop smell. Very danky and a little bitter on taste but finished well. I would recommend this one. Try to score a fresher can or visit the brewery. This score is based off a two month old can of ale which leads me to believe this beer is exceptional fresh.

16 oz can dated 5/11/17

Pours a bright gold color with a 1 finger head that laces well

Nicely aromatic with grapefruit, and orange blossom notes.

Taste has a blast of bitterness up front with a strong citrus galaxy hop flavor along with it. This is not a subtle beer but very fresh and clean tasting

Feel is crisp and bitter, no stickiness. Nice bitter finish

This is a great beer - feels like an IPA with the bitterness and it has full flavor. This is great choice IMO.
