I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It was overprimed....so it poured a hazy orangish with white head that left a huge bubbly head and some lace. The scent had ripe tropical citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with fizzy carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Classic crisp golden body topped with a nice finger or so of wet white foam. Good retention as it recedes to the edges of the glass and smatterings across the top. Good lacing. Quite beautiful actually.

Nose leans towards some nondescript sweet hops. I could be convinced of some citrus and maybe nectar.

Flavour jumps in with some of the same sweet hops as the nose but also a distinctly grainy maltiness. Coming across the middle of the palate you can tell what hop it's brewed with, but it just doesn't really grasp it as well as one would hope. Finish is kind of a weak black tea bitterness.

Medium light body with decent levels of carbonation and the finish stays for a while in a tea bitterness before fading. Overall I'd say this is... fine. It's fine. Nothing exciting, but not explicitly bad either. It's an OK beer. And the fact that this is an example of the type of beer that's so easily dismissed is a testament to how great we have it as ones who enjoy drinking beer these days.

Clear, bright gold body; so-so carbonation; head is thick and fluffy, sticky in soapy globs to the sides of the glass. Nice, gentle scent of mild citrus fruits with elements of light cereal grain. Light malt base with a bold hop bitterness presence. Medium body; crisp and prickly; dry overall.

This is a fine and decent beer. One doesn't get much of any citrus qualities in the aroma or taste. Instead, one receives a rather straightforward APA/IPA offering. Nothing wrong with it, nothing to get excited about. Solid and refreshing.

This beer is sort of misnamed. For an "IPA", it's fairly mild in hoppiness, as well as ABV. On the other hand, if you're looking for a comparatively low ABV beer, this 5.5% "IPA" could be your thing.

It's maltier and somewhat less hoppy than many IPAs. It's even just ever so slightly sweet. But, hey, it's still pretty tasty. The Citra hops are definitely there, although much less prominent than in many of the more famous examples of Citra hopped IPAs. This is no Pliny the Elder.

I found this beer enjoyable, and I'd be happy to have it again, although I'm not hunting for six packs.

Two 19oz cans picked up at Sumerian's brewery and taproom in Woodinville, Washington.
GO HAWKS 10/21/19. Poured in to a pint glass.

Look- Slightly hazy bright golden color, modest off-white head that quickly recedes, decent amount of lacing. Light carbonation streaming as it sits.

Smell- Light pithy citrus (Grapefruit, orange and lemon), light resinous pine, light bready malts, light grassy and floral notes. Everything is light.

Taste- The same. Everything is watered down and washed out

Feel- Medium/light bodied, crisp, lingering light bitterness in the finish, fairly well balanced. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.

O- The most mundane and uninspired IPA I have had in a while. The Budweiser of PNW IPAs. Basic but kind of tasty, at 5.5% it's an easy going session type, nice price at least.

12oz can served in a tulip. Canned 04/10/18. I remember really enjoying this on tap at the brewery, so we'll see how the can is...

Pours a moderately hazy light amber/yellow with a medium head and lots of fine carbonation. Smell is kind of general greens.

Taste is moderately sweet, a little bit of a honey characteristic, mild piney finish.

Mouthfeel is medium to light. Overall, it's not bad. I remember it being much better. Oh well.

This stuff is quite handsome in the Pilsner glass, clear yellow and piled high with white foam. There's a whiff of lemon and grapefruit peel. Very sudsy mouthfeel but the bitterness, thin body, and harsh taste intrudes on the pleasure. Slight citrus flavor but I can't think of a worse example of brewing with such a great hop.

This seems to bitter and yet not very flavorful, like weak tea steeped too long. I've been working through the six-pack for a couple of weeks and every time it strikes me how mediocre this is. From the 12 oz can purchased at Haggen Market in Burlington.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger and a half high white head that has excellent retention properties and consistently left a half finger high head covering the surface end lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of yeast are present in the nose along with hints of citrusy hops.
T: The taste has flavors of biscuit malts with notes of citrus and hints of yeast. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is perceptible.
O: This IPA doesn't do a very good job at showcasing the Citra hops. It even has less hop aromas and flavors than I would expect from an APA.
