On tap at Great Adirondack. A beautiful, copper colored beer with a white creamy head. Aroma of floral hops with some citrus grapefruit. I really took my time to enjoy the first pint of this. As it warms up it gets very piney and resinous. This is so good. I wish I could get this here year-round.

my favorite beer by far at steak and seafood. When the beer came it had a very nice head to it. The head had good retention while I was drinking it and nicely stuck to the sides of the glass. The smell was pleasing with the hints or pine and citrus. I wish I live closer to this place!

Poured a medium copper hue with a one and a half finger foamy white head. There was good retention and sticky lacing.

The smell featured an oily and piney hop with serious grapefruit and orange notes.

The taste consisted of a resiny hop with strong citrusy Cascade notes, atop a robust husky grain.

The mouthfeel was toward the full side with a slight chewiness.

Overall a very impressive DIPA. Perhaps the best beer to come out of this brewery.

Picked up a growler from the restaurant after . Served in a pint glass. Pours a slightly cloudy coper with a finger of off white foam. The head reduces to a ring and leaves some nice lacing.

Aroma is incredible, strong, floral, sweet and hoppy. Flavor is more of the same with the malt coming through to balance the strong hop flavor. The best part of this beer is that despite the huge amounts of hop flavor and aroma, the hop bitterness is fairly low. I really like that in an IPA.

Mouthfeel is smooth and carbonation is high, but appropriate. Easy drinking for hop heads. A really great DIPA.

This brew is very impressive and a hopheads delight.
Arrives as a medium copper colour with limited head and lightly carbonated. The aroma is citrus all the way as is the exellent taste which is derived from the cascade and amarillo hops used in this "not for the faint of heart" beer.
The body was medium/full, glass cling and ring were evident for the duration. Your first sip of this brew will open your eyes in a hurry due to the almost overpowering finish and high ABV that warms to the toes.
Unfortunatly the high ABV also limits the drinkability or oz's consumed IMHO

Solid DIPA. Consumed in tap at the brewery.

Has an awesome look in the glass with a cloudy, almost burnt orange color.

Great aroma of big tropical fruity hops, and a flavor to match with an assertive hop bitterness that balances well for a DIPA.

Overall, a really good DIPA that is worth having again. Great job.

A: Fairly clear copper color with almost no head.

S: Big and bold hop nose. A nice mix of floral and citrus hops. Just a very nice crisp hop nose very impressive.

T: Wonderful hop taste. Well balanced but still hop forward. Just a real treat of an IPA. The hops are really well placed. Curious as to what hops they used.

M: Nice sticky medium mouthfeel. Very crisp.

D: I was surprised by this one. A really solid DIPA made in the mountains. Again thanks to dmeadows for supplying this and most other BAs who have ever had their beers.

Pours a medium golden color with a good deal of carbonation action. The head is rather small which I did not expect based on the bubbles.

Aroma is a rush of fresh floral and citrusy hops along with a good balance of sweetness. A bit of pine and grapefruit but maybe not enough...

Flavor is a nice initial blast of citrusy hops that is immediately followed by powdered sugar and caramel sweetness. This is a pretty serious brew that is leaning more in the direction of a hoppy barleywine than a malty dIPA. Great stuff!

I really enjoyed this beer.
