Often thought of as a delicate fruit, many attempts at using strawberries in beer yields a tart, sometimes astringent, juicy flavor and feel but is fairly nondescript. Not the ones by Urban Artifact; they cram pack each and every can of their wild ale with reckless amounts of the fruit to ensure that there's no missing out on the fruit here.
Pale mauve and set in a nearly opaque fog, Squeezebox builds a creamy eggshell froth that prerequisites a full and juicy scent of red berries, unmistakably strawberry. A light mustiness of zinfindale spice tickles the nose just as the taste of pastry, pie and macerated fruit has the early palate thinking pop tarts.
But then as the sweetness and breadiness begins to release, the juiciness of strawberries flood the middle palate. A complementing fruit medley of currant, cranberry, raspberry and tart cherry can be seen as part of the ale's natural fruitiness. Lemon, crabapple, gooseberry and red grape all take turns before the sheer sourness of the beer balances with strong wine-like acids, peppery woods and an overall must of weathered balsa.
Medium bodied from the creaminess of sourdough and pie crust maltiness, the beer's textures is rendered to a dry and peppery sourness from both the beer's brazen sourness and the vinous alcohol. A medium length afterglow of strawberry, rhubarb and rose wine resonate crisply with fading echoes of flavor.

Aroma is strawberries, malts and mild vanilla. The flavor is strawberries/fruit, malts and a long, very tart/slight vinegar/mildly sweet/hint of sugar finish.

I was worried that my palate needed clearing before sipping this beauty. Never mind that shit, this sucker will cut through any and everything.
It pours on the brown-yellowish side of red with fine head. The aroma is of exotic fruited fermentation. Oh yeah, it has a huge tart sour tang. This is a brew that will take over and give you an extreme experience. It will stand up to very flavorful foods. Excellent finish.
Highly recommended. I wish I had more.

Pours a hazy golden rust color with a light tan head head that dissipates in seconds. The nose has some strawberry aromas, but there’s a metallic note as well that doesn’t fit.
The strawberries are prominent on the taste, with a tart flavor and feel that is on point. I’m glad I have another of these to try, because I’d love for that metallic aroma to go away.

Pours a unique rust color with very little head and no lacing. In the sun, it's an interesting color, but in the shade, I find the color almost off-putting. Smell is also a bit unique. I expected a strong berry scent, but detect almost none. Almost smells a little off. Taste also has less strawberry than I expected, and is not at all tart.
