Poured into a lager glass, the appearance was a runny caramel malt color with some transparency and a fine tuned carbonation rising to punch at a quickly dissipating bubbly head. Not much lace, actually barely any lace.
The aroma had some sweet citrusy hints and a peppery spice. Lager malts are somewhat there with an even lighter yeastiness.
The flavor leaned into a sweet citrusy character. Peppery spice came in slightly. Mild aftertaste of lager malts and yeast.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Decent enough carbonation. Some stickiness. Finishes crisp with some citrusy sweetness.
Overall, I could mention some better India pale lagers done correctly and this one wouldn't be one of them. ABV felt appropriate.

Pours a golden color with substantial clarity and 1/2" white head. Looks professional. Aroma was minimal lager yeast and minimal bittering hops.

Taste, I dunno decent enough, stuck with some lightly toasted 2 row. Cascade hops. Mild lager yeast, slightly Euro in effect. Bitterness around the 45 ibu range. A good amount of floral almost noble like hop as well, in addition to the lemon that seems like they just took whatever was giving their hefe that vibe too and used it here. Not to say that those beers are anything alike other than their relative abv and lemon aspect. Throw in some grapefruit feels for good measure. This beer did nothing wrong. Decent price, when fresh its worth a stab.

Dark golden body with small rocky head, but lots of chunky lacing. Aroma is pure malt, more malt in the taste with a touch of some sharp hops. some lingering bitter finish.

Served from a bomber into a shaker pint. A moderate pour produces about an inch of frothy, off-white head. The head proves pretty sticky. The beer is on the pale side of amber with about average carbonation.
This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Lingering lace sticks and then slides evenly in a nice looking stringiness into the beer.
The smell starts off with a big burst of piney and dry citrusy hops. Light sweet caramel but really faint.
The taste started off bitter and as it warmed there was the sweetness of the hops and the malts, nice.
The mouthfeel was about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable sort of sweet feel rebounding over my tongue. It ends up getting just a tad syrupy in the feel.
Overall, not a bad Double/Imperial pilsener, but somehow I think I'd rather have DFH's My Antonia before this if I went after the style again.

This is an interesting little beer that I had gotten in a bundle at Walmart of all places. It has a fun label that is really well designed. The smell of the beer is very faint. I was surprised that I couldn't smell much. The taste was pretty sharp but had some good flavor. It's a very light Pale Ale, in fact it kind of tastes like a knock off of Sierra Nevada. It has a fantastic look in the bottle and in the glass. Golden Brown and beautiful. I enjoyed it. I might have another pint if I drank this in a bar.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 1/21/2015. Pours slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, complexity, and robustness of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast esters present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPL style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

A clear yellow-orange with light pinkish hues, and thick, chunky, foamy, fine head a shade of cream. Superb lacing and decent retention. Smells and tastes of oranges or grapefruit and rind, from the hops. Impressive biscuity maltiness up front, with crescendoing biting bitter herbal and spicy backdrop, also present in the finish, which is fairly crisp. Feels a bit fuller than your typical pilsner, but similar. Medium to high carbonation. Very good, but I don't think the best hopped up pale lager I've had.

Mediocre. Too hoppy for a refreshing lager, not hoppy enough for a satisfying IPA.
