Canned 7/14. Dark gold with mild lacing. Dank and slightly bitter hoppy notes on the smell. Dank and bitter with mild notes of mango, lemon, and orange. Feel is crisp, light to medium bodied, mild 8 percent. Most Hop Butcher beers I have are the juicy/citrusy hoppy type. This one is a welcome departure.

Deep golden, slight haze, frothy head dissipates quickly
Very fragrant.. mango and peach dominate, other tropical fruit, citrus
Taste is of citrus zest, pine, bitterness; doesn't really match the nose
Medium bodied, well carbonated
Overall, nice beer that smells incredible, but the taste doesn't match it for me, with bitterness dominating, feeling slightly out of balance for me.

The look was a little cloudy but not as hazy or cloudy as a lot of Hop Butcher beers I've had. The smell was tropical with hints of pine. Taste is mango, grapefruit and some guava. Mouthfeel was a little lighter than I'm use to with Hop Butcher. Overall a solid beer.

Pours a nice Orange, white head, nice lacing.
Snot locker, pine, citrus and tropical fruit.
Taste follows what the snot locker gets, with maybe some mango.
Medium bodied, nice carbonation.
7.5% is not off the map for a DIPA, but this is just incredibly drinkable. My first beer from them and it's just terrific!

First time having this brewery and I must say, they really hit it out of the park with this one. Here goes:

A: Pours a beautiful orange with lots of carbonation and hop sediment in the body. Very hazy. Huge head and a lot of lacing. Great.

S: Wow, it's all here. Lots of pine, floral notes, and juicy tropical fruit. Can detect pine, oranges, lemon, and grapefruit. Excellent.

T: Follows the nose, with emphases on the lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Tropical bomb with a hint of pine.

F: A little sedimenty, but still great.

O: A fine beer. Will certainly have another IPA or DIPA with this brewer.

Canned 4/4/18; drank 4/14/18 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy dull orange/yellow appearance; champagne bubbles throughout.

A rough pour yielded a nice, bubbly white head; a thick curtain of frothy lace.

Mango, pine, grapefruit & dry grass notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Grapefruit rind, caramel & pine flavors up front; green onion & dry wheat notes on the finish.

An odd amalgam, & undercarbed to boot. This brewery is very frustrating; they'll make one good beer every 4 months just to keep me interested. I might just pass altogether moving forward.

Your Wish is Granted is a nice looking beer. To start things off it's moderately clear with a burnished golden body that glows bright when backlit. The foam is easy to conjure up. It's creamy and silky, leaving behind thin sheet lacing as it slowly recedes to a thin crown and chunkier ring.

The nose has a crisp graininess, which is nice to run across, it's crackery as well. A nice smattering of citrus on the nose, more grapefruit than orange, flesh and peel. It's got that sharp sweatiness I tend to get from Nelson , reminds me of Parmesan a bit, it's mellow. A faint whisper of tropicals pop up here and there, mango and guava mostly. This smells good, with some complexity, though a little mild for some odd reason.

The flavor makes up for the shy nose. Guava and mango kick things off in a nicely rounded way, there's sweetness but not overly so. White grape pops up mid-palate with some candied grapefruit peel on the backend. It has a touch of that sharpness that I mentioned above but it's not as easy to place. The malt profile is softly grainy and a touch crackery. I'm digging this one.

The body is moderate in weight, maybe a tick heftier. As soon as it hits the tongue that carbonation gets it moving through the finish. It drinks lighter, and nearly airy but not quite. There's a sturdy bitterness along the sides of the tongue and back of the throat with a dryness that keeps progressing. This beer is easy to put away.

Your Wish is Granted is a good beer from Hop Butcher. The nose, while good, lacks intensity but the flavor makes up for it. It's a buzzsaw. It's vibrant. It's dry. I would buy this one again in the future.

Pours a chill hazed or slightly yeast hazed golden orange.

Bright citrus and slightly tannic notes.

Citrus forward with notes of white grape.

Medium-bodied, medium carbonation, soft, smooth.

Overall, a highly crushable brewski!

I found this to be a very drinkable dipa. Aromas of hops dominate. But the taste is more nuanced, with the dank hops leaving room for pine and a hint of grapefruit. Smooth, some bitter and honestly some savory and sweet on the finish. Nice for a sunny afternoon

Lightly hazed orange, compact layer of foam and sheets of lace that have staying power.
Tropical fruit sweetness is light in the aroma, light mango and sandalwood.
Hop forward, moderately bitter and resiny, with some bitter citrus peel in the finish.
Medium bodied, sticky resiny feel, finishes dry and bitter. Overall a solid IIPA.
Thanks to Joe for this one!

Tasted in a Hop Butcher Sahm Sensorik tumbler from a one pint can on April 7, 2018. Canned on 04/04/18. Brewed with Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. Notes of pine and citrus with a hoppy crisp dry bitter finish.

16oz can, dated 04.04.18, poured into a 14oz snifter glass.

The beer pours a slightly hazy orange color, golden and straw hues with a finger of soapy white head that has moderate retention but yields plenty of sticky lace. The aroma is great, juicy citrus and tropical fruits, very floral, white grape, earthy spice, light pine and grassy weediness with soft pale grain and light fusel alcohol. The flavors are very good, super juicy and tropical, citrus juice, light bitter rind, mango and papaya with white grape, light spice, dank grassy and pine flavors that is quite floral with easy pale grains and a bit of warm alcohol. The mouthfeel is good, coating and smooth with a lively medium body and a creamy finish.

Verdict: A very good IPA from Hop Butcher. The blend of Citra and Nelson is excellent, all the brightness and juiciness of Citra with the fruity and floral qualities of Nelson but just enough bite to keep this beer in the real of an IPA. I'm glad to see that Hop Butcher isn't afraid to go more in the mold of West Coast style IPAs instead of making every hoppy beer hazy and sweet.

Bright orange from the pour and is pretty opaque once it settles completely in the glass. Really can smell the citrus/white grape fusion and the finish is smooth.

Definitely a beer to enjoy outside after a long day of work watching the sunset. Unfortunately for me I enjoyed mine in a snowstorm. It won't knock you completely on your ass, being a double, after just one so have another. I certainly will be.

Poured from the can into a tulip.

A - Dark orange with a thin white head, minimal haze but not much.
S - TONS of citrus on the nose of this beer! Grapefruit and orange peel dominate the aroma coming from this.
T - Follows right where the nose left off. Right away your tongue gets hit with the grapefruit and orange peel from the nose, then gives way to the citra hops. A nice, bitter punch to the palate, very reminiscent to the west coast IPA style.
F - Smooth, light, and a little dry. Again, following the west coast style.
O - Hop Butcher knocked it out of the park with this one. Just as the NE style IPA's have dominated my fridge lately, this one brings me back to the IPA's that got me into hoppy beers. This is the big, fruity, bitter hop finished, west coast IPA style to a T and I will definitely be looking out for this one again!

Orange color going into the glass, decent head that fades away slowly. Smell of hoppy citrus fruits, very light mouthfeel gives way to an explosion of flavor from the Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. Most DIPA's rely heavily on a strong malt backbone, this one embraces its IPA roots and gives you an amazingly enhanced/balanced DIPA. Taste lingers for a long time in the mouth hinting at its bitterness with a taste of grapefruit. I am in love and will definitely buy this one again.

I normally don't review beers, just rate. But, I had to for this beer to give it some props. Bought a 4pk of 16oz cans for 12.99. Poured it into a pint glass and it looks like your classic west coast ipa. Orange and a little hazy. Smell is straight citrus. Taste is out of this world! It's perfect. Holy citra! So juicy, so crisp and very refreshing. At 8% abv it is so drinkable. I could crush a 4pk in the middle of summer. Very well done, Hop Butcher. My first beer from them, and I will be purchasing this again and now I'm interested in their other offerings.

A: Dark orange with a thin white head, translucent
S: Sweet orange, big mango, tangerine, Nelson Sauvin white grape character, guava, fruit snacks
T: Citrus, sweet tangerine, bitter orange peel, tropical fruit snacks, grapefruit, light-medium bitterness, white grape
M: Medium, so glad it's not a syrupy DIPA, goes down easy, sometimes dry on finish
O: Glad to try one of their non-NE Style hoppy beers. Very good and hop flavor driven while still getting a pleasant juicy quality that has a nice bitterness for balance. I love Nelson Sauvin hopped beers and while this one doesn't put it at the forefront, it does exhibit flavors that peek up from sip to sip.

After drinking this for about 30 min, I'd say this is in the vein of a Toppling Goliath hoppy beer

Pours a bright orange color - opaque but not hazy. Thick frothy white head dissipates somewhat, but leaves a one finger white head with tons of sticky lacing. lovely looking DIPA.

Smell has aromas of orange, pineapple, pine with a subtle caramel malt undertone.

Taste is a very straightforward old school DIPA, but its really well done. Smooth flavors of orange, pineapple and grapefruit giving way to a balanced piney bitterness on the finish. Nice malt backbone has some flavors of caramel. Some sweetness present in the beer, but not overly sweet.

Feel is rather light for a DIPA, but that makes it very drinkable. Very smooth feel with a medium crisp carbonation.

Overall another great beer from Hop Butcher. This is a great old style DIPA - great flavor profile, well crafted, not much more you can ask for.
