Had on tap. Nice hazy yellow pour with white foam. Taste feature honeydew, herbal and grassy qualities, honey, hops and a resulting resin, pineapple, and yeast that comes across as slightly bitter. Medium bodied with slight murkiness from the haze, but goes down pretty easy. Hops are moderate and cumulative.

Pours a bright sunny and clear sunshine yellow.

Citrus forward with notes of toasted malt.

Bready and toast like malt sweetness with a wave of citrus overlapping.

Light-bodied, medium carbonation, crisp, clean.

Overall, a little one dimensional and lackluster, but overall a drinkable brew.

Second batch (Dec 2017 / Jan 2018) of this one. My recollection may be fuzzy.
L: lemon yellow, a little bit hazy, insanely creamy head that never went away. Seriously, it had a Guinness-like creamy foam on the top of the beer that was still there after I finished all 16oz.
S: citrusy/fruity mostly, nice but not that strong
T: good combination of fruitiness and maltiness, with a nice bitter finish. A little more fruity and less bitter than the previous batch.
F: very creamy for a beer this bitter, very drinkable.
O: Very nice IPA, I would definitely drink this again. The flavor is closer to a classic style IPA, while the appearance and texture are closure to a NE style. It reminds me a lot of Warpigs Lazurite in look, smell, and flavor.

Canned 12/20/17; drank 1/8/18 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque yellow/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice bright white head; thick, frothy lace.

Fresh soap, mild cantaloupe, dry grass & faint lager yeast notes in the hose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Fresh soap & mild cantaloupe flavors up front; dry grass notes on the finish.

Soap-y, dry & fairly unpleasant. I've had my last.

16oz can, dated 12.20.17, stamped Scully, poured into a Hop Butcher For The World oversized wine glass.

The beer pours a very hazy golden straw color, light orange hues with a thick and foamy white head, about a finger high that has great retention and yields tons of soapy lace. The aroma is pleasant, very earthy, lots of resinous pine and grassy green hops, light melon rind, a bit of berry fruit with lots of pale grain and mineral water. The flavors are nice, very bitter and earthy melon rind, light hop spice, grassy and floral hops with light citrus and tropical fruits and a plenty of stale pale doughy malt and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively and crisp texture, bone dry with a sharp finish.

Verdict: A nice DIPA from Hop Butcher. Plenty of raw and green hop leaf, nice bitterness that is assertively earthy and has a nice counterbalance of fruitiness that makes for a pleasant beer.

Tasted in a Hop Butcher arome glass from a one pint can on December 22, 2017. Canned 12/20/17. Look is light lemon gold with a thick bubbly head and lingering lacing. Smell and taste is melon, berry and stone fruit.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 2/3/17, had 2/12/17.

Pours a darker, hazy orange, with a one finger foamy head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Smells of pine, resin, pineapple, light peach, a floral aroma. A touch dank when warm. The taste opens up a little more than the nose. Mango, peach, pineapple, light pine and resin, malt. A bit floral, a touch dank. A mild bitterness up front, a sweet note on the finish. Smooth, a lighter body and feel for a DIPA, well carbonated.

Good, expressive flavors and aroma, although the aroma loses steam over time. Lighter feel for a DIPA. But, it's definitely enjoyable to drink, so it's worth a purchase.

A - Pours a clear dark golden color.
S - Aroma is sweet and malty.
T - Flavor is malty with hints of tropical fruit.
M - Thicker mouth feel of a DIPA. Medium carbonation.
O - Not really a NE style beer. But still pretty good.

A very out there kind of brew, which fits in with the name. I am unfamiliar with the hop blend, but it is one that brings out a range of summer fruits which mingle with the honey sweet malty feel on the back end. Some mango, tangerine and grilled peach comes through along with a sort of dank aftertaste. A beer to be enjoyed as fresh as possible.
