Light amber in color. Fairly intense but not distinct juicy aroma. Taste is really sweet. There's lots of tropical fruit but also an almost candy sweetness. To me, the sweetness nearly overwhelms the hops. It's an interesting yet unusual DIPA.

Thanks to Thomas & Jenny for sharing!
Bright orange with a wispy surface skim and spotty lace.
Herbal aroma, lightly spicy, vague melon.
Taste is resiny and bitter, pretty malty. Candied orange peel or something. Medium bodied, malty and resiny. Sort of heavy handed on the malt and alcohol, didn't really enjoy it.

16oz can, "PKG 11/20/18 Resurrection Mary". Cloudy pale yellowy-orange body with a foamy off-white head that leaves thick rings of lace on the glass. Juicy & citrusy aroma of orange and grapefruit, some melon as the label suggests. Nice juicy New England IPA flavors with notes of grapefruit, kumquat, melon, papaya, guava, and a hint of berry as the brewer suggests. Full body, modest yet ample bitterness, carbonation is good as well. This is a very well put together beer. One of the best ones I've had from Hop Butcher.....

Pours a bright sunny and clear sunshine yellow.

Citrus forward with notes of toasted malt.

Bready and toast like malt sweetness with a wave of citrus overlapping.

Light-bodied, medium carbonation, crisp, clean.

Overall, a little one dimensional and lackluster, but overall a drinkable brew.

16oz can, dated 12.20.17, stamped Scully, poured into a Hop Butcher For The World oversized wine glass.

The beer pours a very hazy golden straw color, light orange hues with a thick and foamy white head, about a finger high that has great retention and yields tons of soapy lace. The aroma is pleasant, very earthy, lots of resinous pine and grassy green hops, light melon rind, a bit of berry fruit with lots of pale grain and mineral water. The flavors are nice, very bitter and earthy melon rind, light hop spice, grassy and floral hops with light citrus and tropical fruits and a plenty of stale pale doughy malt and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively and crisp texture, bone dry with a sharp finish.

Verdict: A nice DIPA from Hop Butcher. Plenty of raw and green hop leaf, nice bitterness that is assertively earthy and has a nice counterbalance of fruitiness that makes for a pleasant beer.

Canned 12/20/17; drank 1/8/18 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque yellow/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice bright white head; thick, frothy lace.

Fresh soap, mild cantaloupe, dry grass & faint lager yeast notes in the hose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Fresh soap & mild cantaloupe flavors up front; dry grass notes on the finish.

Soap-y, dry & fairly unpleasant. I've had my last.
