16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 4/4/17, had 4/24/17.

Pours a hazy apricot, with a one inch foamy head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of pine, orange, pineapple, mango, tangerine, yeast. Lightly dank, as it warms. The taste is similar to the nose- tangerine, pine, resin, pineapple, orange, light grapefruit, light malt. A low amount of hop bitterness throughout, a light sweet note on the finish. Smooth, full bodied for the style, well carbonated.

A really nice balance between the hops and the substantial malt backbone. Tropical fruits and pine both bold and balanced. Really well made, very enjoyable. A tick lower on the overall, because it doesn’t seem like a NEIPA, as it claims.

Pours a slightly hazy orange color. Can see through the beer but not clearly. Looks nothing like a NE style IPA. Fora classic IPA, its alright looking.

Smell is very piney and dank with some citrus and orange notes.

Taste has notes of pine, citrus, pine needles, sap, and some caramel malts. Pretty malt forward. Its a fine tasting IPA, bit crude, but really nothing like a NE style.

Feel is on the light side, bit syrupy, touch of dry bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation.

As a classic IPA this is a solid beer - bit rough, but good tasting. My issue is that its advertised as a NE style IPA and it really is nothing like what you'd expect from the style. My overall rating would be higher, but I have to dock this for failing to deliver on the advertised style.

Pours a completely opaque, brown-hued dark orange color with a massive and lasting near-white head. Heavy lacing.

Orange, a little pine and a touch of spice in the nose. Maybe a hint of nutty, buttery malts as well.

The buttery malt aspect is up front in the taste. Not completely over the top, but definitely not to my taste. The orange and spice shows behind that. Maybe a hint of tropical flavor as well -- pineapple and coconut. Modest bitterness, but the butter lingers as well.

Medium bodied with a slight creaminess cut by strong carbonation.

It's not awful, but definitely subpar. The malt flavors in this one seem more like a flaw than a choice, but who knows? Canned on 04/04/17.

Canned 4/4/17; drank 4/18 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy orange appearance. A rough pour yielded a huge white head; strong lace.

Fruit punch, caramel & baking soda notes in the nose.

Medium thick mouthfeel.

Caramel & fruit punch flavors up front; wheat, baking soda & lager yeast notes on the finish.

How they labeled this a NE IPA I'll never know; more importantly, this just isn't very good. How the might have fallen...
