Yields an entirely clouded yellow color with a huge, froth head atop.
Unfolds an intense tropical fruitiness on the nose together with lighter resin and honey, amped up by a raw, slightly skunky lime appearance.
Its mouthfeel is smooth and pleasantly creamy with a great, playfully integrated balance, featuring a lower, well fitting carbonation level which turns effervescent during the beer’s finish.
Tastes of fresh pressed limes pulp among a spicy noble hop quality with toffee, resin, flowery nectar and luscious mango. Develops a velvet, bitter, yet smooth lime forward middle part with blueberries and sugared blood oranges cutting through. Finishes with sweeter turning fruits, a note of caramel and more prominent honey among a dank, wet grass quality, enriched by a maintaining strong headed lime supremacy, leading to a long lasting, bitter finish.
This features a fantastic new england style IPA hoppiness with lots of overboarding exotic fruits, combined with an intense old school bitter- and sweetness. The world class mouthfeel of the beer is outstandingly smooth and velvet, makes this truly enjoyable throughout. Thank you very much Rob for bringing us two of this.

Appearance: Arrives a cloudy goldenstraw with a one finger head; clumpy lacing
Smell: Pineapple and mango tones supported by candied orange
Taste: Papaya and pineapple forward, with some peach and mango emerging; orange pith emerges, in the middle, to bring a light to moderate bitterness; very juicy in the finish
.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat creamy
Overall: A really nice NE IPA from the Hop Butcher; hits all of the buttons I seek in this style

Canned 11/4/22
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity), medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.50)
Aroma: Strong aromas of juicy pineapple, grapefruit, and some lime and white pine notes. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong flavors of lemon and grapefruit citrus, juicy pineapple, some green melon, lime and light pine notes. Not too sweet. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. Finishes soft and smooth. Creamy, but not too sweet. (4.25)
Compared to Hop Butcher Green Fly 1/2023: Pours slightly darker, larger head. Stronger aromas. More citrus, grapefruit, pine. Less green melon and tropical sweetness.
Compared to Hop Butcher Mirror Ball 2/2023: Pours identical, similar aromas. Very similar, but slightly more green citrus and juiciness with less berry sweetness. Dryer and cleaner.
Overall: Very nice showcase of the Citra and Simcoe flavors while maintaining the classic Hop Butcher soft and creamy mouthfeel. Has the citrus and pine notes balanced by the juicy pineapple and green melon. I think I'd switch the name of this and Green Fly. This one has more bright citrus and airy while Green Fly was more dank and resinous like moss. Nevertheless, this one is great. (Rating: 4.32)

Light gold to yellow in color with a hazy complexion. Light, soapy lacing is present. There’s a solid inch of tightly knit and densely packed off white on top. The aroma is of pine, lime, and citrus. I’m tasting lime and pine hops. The mouth is very smooth and approachable.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, toasted caramel and some piney notes. It tasted of tropical fruit, toasted caramel and piney bitterness.
