Hazy yellow body with a finger of fluffy white foam. Smell has mango, pineapple, orange, peach, lemon and dank grassy hops, just a dream of an ipa with the intensity and complimentary nature of the fruits and hops. Taste gets a little muddled in comparison, though still very good. Nice to have a neipa that has a good bitter hop bite on the finish. Feel is bright, juicy, and dry on the finish with the dank hop textures

Pours a bright light orangish yellow, super hazy. Large white head dissipates slowly leaving healthy lacing. Aroma is robust, pineapple, oranges and melons. Flavor is a sweet following of the nose with just enough of a hop bite on the finish to keep things fair. Feel is smooth and rich with decent carbonation. Overall a splendid beer.

Canned 4/2/19; drank 4/6/19 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a big off-white head; thick, frothy tree-rung lace.

Melon, mango, mild ganja & faint dry grass notes on the nose.

Soft, medium mouthfeel.

Mango & melon flavors up front; mild dry grass & faint ganja notes on the finish. No booze heat.

One of the better Hop Butcher IPA's I've ever had; they are not consistent, but when they're on, they're on. I'd love to have another...

Canned 4/2/19. I tried to score some Hop Butcher when I was in Chicago last summer but came up dry. Luckily, a buddy came through with this can he scavenged from his recent visit per my request. Needless to say, I am very stoked to try, so let's dive in.
L: The beer pours a milky vibrant yellow in color/appearance. Truth be told, the beer has the juicy hazy yellow appearance that is my preference for NEIPAs. Completely opaque, zero clarity. A standard pour yielded about a finger of a loosely packed white cap that dissipated before I put the can down. Generous amounts of residual lacing chill on the glass.
S: Stonefruit for days. Peach, apricot and nectarine all prevalent, with background smells of tangerine and lemon. It smells juicy and inviting.
T: Straight up juice bomb with a perfect hoppy finish. Initially, you get that punchy flavors of citrus and stonefruit with hints of black pepper and honey, then it transcends into a citrus/hoppy flavor towards the finish. The finish is sweet with lingering notes of apricot and citrus in the aftertaste. It is sweet, but does possess enough hop flavor to round it out.
F: Incredible, and epitome of NEIPA feel in my opinion. Smooth, creamy, full, soft, and pillowy. The carbonation is that right amount to where the beer feels lofty. No booze detection at 7.5abv.
O: One word - superb. It lived up to my expectations and even surpassed them. This is a NEIPA at it's finest, being fine tuned to the max. If you can't tell, I am very much enjoying this beverage. I am very grateful that I am able to try it, and I most certainly would drink again. Cheers!

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 5, 2019. Brewed with Amarillo, Strata and Galaxy hops. Look is thick haze. Smell is floral. Tasty is fruity and juicy. Feel is fuzzy and full bodied.

The look of this beer was orange and hazy. Great smell. Tropical. Lots of mango and pineapple. The taste was very tropical and fruity up front. Good mouthfeel. Overall another very good beer from Hop Butcher.

Orange color and a mouthfeel for this style as good as anything I've had. A lot of mango/pineapple taste with some bitterness there too. Probably as good as any beer I've had from Hop Butcher.
