Pours like a glass of OJ. Smells tropical and dank. Creamy mouthfeel. Great balance of sweetness and bitterness. Best Hop Butcher beer to date???

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 12, 2019. Double India Pale Ale brewed with Citra, Waimea and Mosaic hops. Hazy, juicy and full bodied.

Had on tap. Hazy yellow pour with white foam. Getting the trio of hops off the nose, blossoming into aromas of candied orange, lemon, juicy grapefruit, pine, dried berries, light honey and passion fruit. Taste opens up even more, super sweet and juicy at first with all of those fruits from the smell plus pear and melon, then gets decent hops to make a crisp finish. Really nice composition, bursting with flavor and texture.

The look is pretty typical of a Hop Butcher beer, really hazy. Love the smell lots of grapefruit first then some pine. The taste is tropical and juicy and then bitter and dank. Very nicely balanced. Creamy mouthfeel. Very good beer, Hop Butcher does it again.

Hazy dark yellow with a tall fluffy convex white foam settling to a persistent soft film leaving round knuckles of lacing.

This is a tingly, spicy and slightly herbal eucalyptic hop cocktail that also exhibits juicy citrus and tropical fruits via a fluffy round body that has a biting dry finish.

Nicely complex and perfectly balanced between juicy and bitter.

Canned 4/9/19; drank 4/14/19 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a big off-white head; thick, frothy lace.

Orange citrus, dry grass & cane sugar notes in the nose.

Soft, medium mouthfeel.

Orange peel, dry grass & faint cane sugar flavors; faint booze heat emerged as this warmed.

Not quite as good as Loophole Technology, but above average. HBFTW's recent hot streak continues.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date, but bought fresh recently. Clouded and opaque yellow-orange body with creamy off-white head. Juicy aroma of tropical fruit, pine, and green hops. Bold flavors consisting of notes of piney mango, citrus, pear, peach, berry, and green hops. Full body, creamy & smooth, yet very resinous; hops burn the throat a bit. Very good as expected, but not my favorite from this brewery. (8/10)
