Probably the best single beer I've had in 2016, to date. This beer is the closest thing to a perfect drink that I've had in a very long time. Clean, bright, fresh, perfectly balanced. I can't wait to return to Denver with hopes that this is still available. Wonderful beer. Deserves hype which it obviously has not gotten since I've just added this one.

This is a tale of two beers, really, based on temperature. When I first cracked this, cold, it was amazing. Tart, delicious, really enjoyable. As I let it warm up, strange 'asparagus' flavors started to develop and I had to put the glass back into the fridge to finish it. Be sure to drink nice and cold.

this may have been classidied incorrectly as gueuze, dont believe it meets those style specifications, but its great beer, up there with the mach limit tempranillo as the best beer these guys have made in my experience. a golden sour blonde beer with corvus coffee (the best!) from right down the street. i saw bottles of this at freshcraft during gabf for close to 70 bucks. are you kidding me?! about half that at the taproom. beautiful bright straw golde color in the glass with a tall white head. no sediment until the bottom third or so of the bottle. heavily bacterial sourness hits the nose right away. astounding pucker to this, and the mouth waters instantly. i wish i knew more about how the coffee was added, it has an unbrewed bean roasty quality, lots of coffee in here for sure, earthy and bitter, cool with the citrus notes from the yeasts. flavor is insanely complex, really beautiful beer. coffee all the way through, roasty and smooth but also somewhat light in that it does not overtake subtle notes in the base beer. lemon and bright lactic acid, some sweet mellow wood, maybe from the coffee, and a light biscuity cereal grain base. its amazing beer, like nothing i have ever had. the quality of the coffee from corvus is obvious here, and the yeast complexion is more intriguing than a lot of their other beers. dry in the finish with the coffee and the sour lingering together. brilliant carbonation. there is nothing out there like this at all, a top beer for me of late!
