I been to the TapWerks Ale House in Bricktown a couple of times and enjoyed myself both times. The selection of beers is incredible... i think the bartender told me there 108 taps, and most were flowing, only half dozen dead soldiers. That's impressive to me. I was curious what kind of effort it took to keep that many taps clean; i imagined it would be like painting the Golden Gate Bridge! He indicated that he never touches the taps...that each of the distributors services their own plumbing. The staff was very attentive and reasonably knowledgeable.
The atmosphere is comfortable enough and there is plenty of room. They weren't real busy either time i went in. I had dinner there once, with a gang from work. I had a salmon dish and my friends all had steak. They complained about their meals being tough. Mine was nothing to rave about either, but i guess you don't go to the Mid-West and expect a fish dish to be off the charts (but the steaks didn't get it either so...). Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it because it's all about the beer!!

Great vibe, they have several rooms to choose from, each with various bar games available. Great variety and selection.

Tapwerks Ale House is located in the Bricktown district of Oklahoma City near the hotel I was staying at. Once you enter, there's an Irish Pub feel. Dark wood. Lots of tables and booths. I believe there's also a second level. The had quite a few taps, maybe 100 or so.
My server was welcoming and prompt in his service. I ordered some food to take back to the hotel.
I had a local milk stout. Very cool vibe. I enjoyed my visit.

Great place! Nice vibe and good people. Nachos were typical pub food but enough to feed two of us with leftovers. Nice selection of the growing number of MIO brews (made in OK) as well as some really nice contenders from near and far. Wallace took great care of us! I will definitely return next time I am in town!

This place is just incredible. 100+ taps and servers who know craft beer and provide great service. I happened to be here during OKC Craft Beer Week. Was able to get some glasses and try great beer (Prairie Bomb on tap).
Food was great. I had a southwest salad that was large, tasty, and priced very reasonable.
This spot represents craft beer well and a real gem.

TapWerks has been around awhile but has withstood the test of time as a place to get good beer in okc. With the craft beer rage it has only increased in popularity. The food is consistently solid. Service can be spotty but beer selection is great. Also, serving temperature is not always optimum. If you like a cigar you can venture upstairs and usually enjoy live music also.

Tapwerks at Bricktown happened to be straight across the street from my hotel. Geez, what a coincidence. I've always heard mixed reviews about this place so figured I better see for myself. I did not try the food, but the menu is fairly standard bare bones pub eats - sandwiches, salads, and fried stuff. Place is not what I'd call a looker, but it's comfy enough. Bar is a bit high for my liking - or bar stools a bit short...yeah a first world problem of my own genetics. Beers? 212 taps on 2 floors and 100 bottle choices. A very good selection of Oklahoma brews here. Most everything else is pretty common, but did not see any of that "good ole boy honkytonk pool room swill" at this tap house. The bar is pretty good size and was filled with patrons. The barmaid was running her ass off, but doing a fine job. She wore a shirt that read "BEER SNOB" on the back and she knew her stuff well, not to mention perfect pours. I tipped her well! I had three Okie brews for $4 each. Good deal! I only have two REAL complaints. The copper flashed tap splash and bar top really needed a polishing as they looked neglected and...a little gross. A copper bar top? Okay then. I know beer should not be too cold, but it was almost 100F that day and I wasn't really down with the merely cool temps from the taps here. Will I go back? Certainly!
