Notes:
El Dorado, Belma, and Mosaic hops and 4 different malts.
Higher Burnin' is brewed in celebration of the late 5 Pointz: NYC's graffiti mecca. This IPA is hazy, bright orange in color with aromatics of juicy fruit, strawberry, & nectarine. Orange marmalade and candied citrus flavors emerge with a subtle piney bitterness, finishing long, lush and dry.

My cousin brought this over for Thanksgiving but we had a ton of other good stuff so I didn't get to it until leftover day. Pours a huge, tight bubbled off white head with visible lace as it recedes. Nose is bread note and heavy medicinal hops. The flavor is similar, with a clean finish and relaxed carbonation this is almost delicate for the octane. Really well disciplined in the crafting, this works as a tightly controlled burn. Keep an eye out for these guys.

This must be from the part of queens AOC represents because many people think it’s good but it’s actually awful. The taste is actually poor. Read my previous I never write this. The taste is Bitter and extra malty. I get a bit of melon but that’s about it. Have to find out what I’m going to do with the other three cans I have. I cannot not recommend this enough.

Look: Hazy golden orange, three finger white head.
Smell: Citrus fruit and freshly mowed lawn.
Taste: Crisp and light flavor of various citrus fruit, orange sticks out. There is some melon like flavor as well. Finishes with some malt in the aftertaste and a little bitterness.
Feel: Less than average carbonation, not too thick.
Overall: A light beer for the style, not so bad.

No production date on can. My metallic green on green can is different than the pic above.
The color is on the yellow side of amber, carbonation is steady and visible through a slight chill/protein haze. A tall, 2 inch head of white foam billows up and is reluctant to fall. Thick sheets of clotted lace drape the glass.
Aroma is clean and "spritzy" with notes of lemon, hints of rock candy and alcohol. By no means an in your face IPA nose but nothing unpleasant.
Flavor is an essay in balance. Complex malt and hop flavors fill the mouth in the 1st sip. Bitter / boil hops seem on the soft side but not by much. Hop flavors of apricots, spruce tips and sour apples mix with a light honey on bread malt backbone that combine to create the "ale fruit" bliss of song and story, and oh so lost in the juicy haze of today's so-called IPA's.
Body is a bit thin as the finish is abrupt and final. Mild, lingering hop spice tingles the tongue long after the swallow.
Great rich malt character and well balanced hop flavors with a firm, bitter IPA bite.
Getcha some of this one boyz!

If this beer was a painting, they wouldn’t be hanging it in the Louve, ya feel me? Like, damn, it’s ugly. All “off” orange like a jack o lantern in July. No thanks. When I sniffed the sucker, I was pleasantly surprised - maybe Tahiti after rainfall - all tropical and clean. But the taste...omg...the taste! Nasty! It’s like old, dirty fruit. Can’t say I’ve had anything like it. It’s not vile, but it’s just not my thing.
Like the NL adopting the DH, no sir!
*Hey now. Pretty weird. This beer all of a sudden flipped a switch. It got pretty damn clean with beautiful melon and a soft feel. I’m feelin’ it.

Poured from pint can. Light/hazy orange in color, a fun medium bodied beer with a balanced taste. Has a backbone at 7% abv though has a mellow well blended flavor. Easy to drink.

From the can it pours a hazy orange color. A moderate head displays decent retention.
The nose opens with strong notes of pineapple and hints of tropical fruit. Stone fruit aromas evoke notes of peach, nectarine and apricot. The malt aromas are sweet and bready with notes of biscuit, honey and caramel.
Juicy hops flavors, which balanced with the biscuity and doughy malt evoke a jammy marmalade and fruity preserve taste. Hoppy flavors of peach, nectarine, pineapple, mango and citrus fruit come to dominate the palate, providing a tangy and zesty spice. The bitterness is mild yet assertive, with notes of pine resin.
Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. The feel is somewhat crisp, while the finish is dry, long and fruity.
Solid hazy IPA overall. It is very drinkable.

Hazy, fruit forward IPA. Tons of citrus on the nose and palate reminiscent of orange juice in the mouth feel. Mango and apricot and pineapple in there as well. Very refreshing on a warm day by the grill.

Very nice IPA - mouthfeel and juiciness almost reminded me of a New England style IPA. Could not find a date printed on the can. Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with lots of fluffy white head and some small rings of lingering lacing. Smells nice and bright and dank, ripe grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon and tangerine hops. Also some malt, creamy vanilla, bread and weaker floral and herbal hops. Taste follows the nose, great balance and depth and very flavorful. Smooth, sticky, juicy, slightly soft mouthfeel and great amount of carbonation. A very well crafted beer from a brewery that's new to me.

LIC Beer Project’s Higher Burnin IPA 7% ABV 80 IBU. This IPA pours a very hazy caramel orange color with a two finger width slightly off white colored head that lingers for a bit before leaving tons of lacing on the glass. The aroma is absolutely amazing with fruit being the predominant aroma with hints of mangoes pineapples apricots passion fruit tartness grapefruit flesh and peel with a bit of pine finishing it off. The flavor is of grapefruit mangoes pineapples oranges hints of apricots passion fruit there are also floral notes from the hops along with pine before finishing with a grapefruit peel hop bitterness to balance out the sweetness of the malts. The mouthfeel is medium body with a decent amount of carbonation. The IPA is very well balanced and delicious. 7/10

Pours a foggy orange. Aroma is resiny, orange, tangerine, herbal and dank hops. Sticky up front and remains all the way through. Flavor profile is resin, dank, herbal and orange with a little hop burn at the back. Mouth feel is lightly velvety but turns to a more bubbly texture. It has a medium thickness. Overall, sticky and refreshing.

16oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of orange, pineapple and toasted caramel. Sweet and tropical with caramel maltiness.

1 pint can without production codes or freshness dating
Notes via stream of consciousness: Another haze bomb! It's beyond the cloudiest of hefeweizens and bordering on becoming murky. It's orange-ish beneath a yellowish off-white head. The aroma suggests strawberry, other berries, pineapple, orange, and melon. It's not the brightest aroma given that it's an IPA but it's decent enough. The flavor follows the aroma with a firm, sweetish and bready maltiness. I'm not really finding any more fruitiness but there is a touch of something that's a bit like pine. A firm bitterness balances it and it finishes mainly dry with some of that semi-pine lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied with a little zest on the tongue from the carbonation and then creamy smooth. Overall it's pretty decent all-around.
