Pours a hazy yellow, with low foam.

Smell is juicy and tropical, with some sweetness and vanilla. Notes of pineapple and strawberries.

Taste is tropical and juicy. Pineapple and some berries blend with a soft bitterness, and ends with some licorice and vanilla.

Mouthfeel is medium, and soft.

Overall, a very drinkable IPA, with lots of nice tropical smells and tastes.

16 ounce pour at One Mile House. Score for getting a 16 ounce.

My, my, my. These dudes are killing it.

This beer has more of a pulpy juice feel than a beer with almost minimal bitterness. The tickle of carbonation is there and body plenty substantial, so it's beer, but it could easily pass for pineapple or mango nectar. So easy-drinking and smooth. Almost has that sugar/nectar feature I've begune to notice in a lot of the more salient East Coast IPAs lately and I enjoy it.

This beer is damn delicious. Killed my pint. Want more. Will get another pour.

Got this beer in a Crowler. Drank out of a tulip.

Look: Medium to light gold color with a finger of very rocky head. Solid medium to medium plus haze.

Aroma: Has all of the tropical fruit aromas you expect from a NE IPA. Overripe mango, papaya, and passion-fruit. That said, it does not explode out of the glass. Think ipa as opposed to IPA!

Taste: Aroma translates to the palate. All of the flavors are there, its just mild flavor. A slight lingering pithy bitterness on the back end as well.

Mouthfeel: Nice medium creaminess. Drinks like the 7% beer that it is.

Overall(style points): I live walking distance from LIC and I've had a lot of there beer but this is the first true IPA I've had from them. I've always found there stuff to be very balanced and zen like. If you've never had LIC before I would compare there style to Maine and this beer definitely fits with their style. With Higher Burnin' they've managed to bring some subtle balance to the world of NE Juice Bombs! 91.75 points!

A- Light hazy orange
S- pretty cool aroma. Sweet sticky berry citrus juice.
T- Follows. Delicious. Such easy drinking followed by a light piney bitterness at the back end that quickly disappears. So refreshing.
M- Light and smooth. Carbonation is perfect for me.
O- Really tasty, interesting IPA. My first LICBP beer. Can't wait to try more.

32oz growler from BeerShop NYC on the UWS
Pours a hazy peach flesh orange with minimal white head, smell is peachy on the pour, thick candied citrus peel and dank pine in the glass, taste is crispy pineapple/orange soda followed by peach nectar, finishes with mild pine bitterness that lingers, this beer is medium light with slight creaminess. An tropical crusher, higher burnin' indeed.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a pale hazy orange, with a small head and lots of lacing.

This smells pretty floral, with soft cantaloupe, mango, and peach, with slight pine.

This is pretty great- I'm so excited that we're getting LIC stuff now. It's so soft and quite juicy, with a cool grassy and floral bitterness on the finish. This is just so easy to drink, it's wonderful.

This is soft pillowy and so drinkable, with a good level of carbonation.

I am heavily diggin' this beer. LIC Beer Project is a sneaky great brewery.

Inscrutable but recent (read, 2017) canning date; features a Belma, El Dorado, and Mosaic hop profile... 7% abv... Not familiar with Belma hops... medium-pale gold body, opaque with haze, full head of white foam; lotsa of messy lace coating the glass... Aromas are citrusy, but with some mediating herbal/floral/pine aspects... Great taste - has citrus elements, but something like strawberry and melon, too, and with a mildly dank and earthy edge... Medium-light feel, soft, smooth, and amply carbonated... Sweetness held in firm check, mild yeasty tang and hop bitterness give the tongue a little tug toward the finish... Impressive...

From the can, pours cloudy yellow gold color with a solid 2 finger white colored foamy head that faded slowly and left really good foamy lacing after it went down with rings of foam after all the beer was gone.

Smells of fresh citrus fruit, orange peel, lemon zest, herbs, floral hops, tangerine, mint, honeydew melon, graham cracker, piney hops, sea salt, coriander, pepper and potpourri-like floral spices. Seems like dry floral hops are floating in the brew, it's really hoppy and pungent.

Tastes like it smells with citrus up front that had lots of citrus and tropical fruit, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, clementine, herbs, biscuit, green apple, floral hops, graham cracker, piney hops, sea salt, coriander, pepper, tea leaf, bread crust and like the nose there is a small level of potpourri-like floral spices. This trails off mostly floral with wet cardboard and malty notes that cover up the 7% ABV quite well. Very smooth with low carbonation, a buttery mouthfeel and a minor bitterness, this is tasty and session-able, another nice offering from LIC Beer Project.

on tap at the brewery taproom - aroma is tropical fruits (papaya, mango and guava), with some spicy notes and yeasty esters. deep golden color with a thick 1" white head and good lacing. cloudy as NE style IPA calls for.
on the palate, medium to medium full body with a rich texture, moderate astringency and lively carbonation.
flavors is all tropical fruits with are balanced by soft malt character. the bitterness is a bit heavy and it lasts well into the finish.
good NE style IPA although the bitterness needs to be curbed just a bit.
