Got this beer in a trade. Big thanks to Leo for this one. Drank from a TEKU.

Look: Deep golden color with a rocky eggshell head and a full haze.

Aroma: Big fleshy orange on the nose along with lots of mango and just of hint of sweet onion.

Taste: Aroma translates to the palate. lots fleshy sweet orange with a medium minus bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Awesome medium plus creamy mouthfeel.

Overall(style points): I've had a lot of LIC before but this is by far the best. Super fleshy with just enough sweetness to heighten the citrus and tropical fruit. 98.5 points!

The beer comes on with a creamy and pillowy body with flavors of pithy grapefruit, pineapple, citrus creamsicle, with a pithy bitterness and mint and pine towards the finish.

Pours a hazy orangish copper. Mostly opaque. I rarely admire a head, but the foam on this beer was gorgeous. Pillowy snow capped mountains. Lots of retention. The nose is sweet cantaloupe and orange sherbet. It smells like straight up dessert but the sweetness is far from overpowering.
The taste follows suit. The melon flavors really burst up front. I've never had a cantaloupe milkshake, but I have to imagine this is what it would taste like. It develops into what feels like an entire orange creamsicle in each sip. The finish is cake batter with a doughy malt presence. Mouthfeel is very big and very creamy.
I got a little heat with my first can a few days ago but this one doesn't taste anywhere close to 8.5%. LIC is hiding the booze as well as anyone these days in their DIPAs.
Cannons is very unique for the style. This isn't something I'd put in the top tier of NEIPAs, but it's very good and something worth trying out. With this beer and Full Monty, LIC has really gone all out with the super fruity, bitterness-free New England style. It's a nice compliment to their more balanced IPAs like Higher Burnin and Pile of Crowns, which are both outstanding in their own right. Overall, these guys are absolutely killing it.

Pint can dated 5/10 at home with Lisa. Still really fruity and orange for two months old. Slightly more bitter than I would like, but nice mouth feel otherwise. Recommended - would like to try this super fresh.

Traded for this beer, as it sold out quite early on the day of it's release. Most of LIC's beers have been solid, and quite enjoyable and this was no exception as it went down smoothly, happily, and quite easily. Just a bit too sweet for my tastes, this was not the smoothest of sippers but there was plenty to savor here as this was in line with everything else that I had from them in recent months!

The pour to this was solid as the beer had a hazy apricot hue to it with plenty of head and wonderful, soapy rings that were left behind once I started to work my way through it. Incredibly sweet in the nose, with plenty of candied sugar, sherbet, and crystalline fructose in the nose. This sweetness resumed in the taste as this felt like a dessert beer laced with orange zest, juicy hops, and sticky resin that held everything together. I almost had the feeling that I was eating cotton candy when I enjoyed this beer as my gut reaction told me that this needed more hops and citrus notes and not a shot of water as a chaser.

Like a good birthday cake, this put a smile on my face but couldn't be enjoyed by itself. The alcohol was well-hidden and a slight onion-and-chive spiciness came in once the liquid went down but overall, this had so much going for it including an expansive hop profile and murky aftertaste that had me wanting for more. Not a typical IPA, I enjoyed this as a beer not quite like any other and one that helped to elevate LIC's profile. Worth a go once as a odd dessert offering, more than anything else...even thought it lacked a date on the bottom of the can.

Canned 10/14/17

It is a dull, hazy straw yellow with a massive, mustache producing frothy white head. Plenty of lacing.

Smells like musty apricot and BO, some orange, and a slightly dank green with a touch of berry.

It tastes like apricot/peach with some skin, passion fruit, some guava, pineapple, and pithy grapefruit, with some floarly/leafy green hops and a lingering bitterness that seems to build through the aftertaste. Malts are really light, especially for the abv, with just a touch of cracker like flavor.

Super easy to drink. It has a bit of bite to it carbonation wise, and is on the lighter side of a medium body, but amole fullness.

This beer may look more new school east coast, but it tastes more old school. And for that I thank you. Excellent beer. Reminds me of a Trillium brew.
