Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Yellow Session. Pale color, really hazy. Aroma is bright and hoppy with floral notes and tart fruits. Taste is light, fresh and hoppy with bitter finish. Really refreshing for a DIPA.

Poured from a 32oz growler into a speilgau IPA glass.

Look is a hazy yellow with a frothy white head.

Aroma is intensely hoppy. Lots of citrus and mango right off the bat.

Body is thin but the taste is incredible. Lots of fruity notes. Amazing beer.

Looks murky, grayish yellow. Modern.

Smell isn't as strong as the rest of the beer. Got served in a water glass at a restaurant, so maybe it needs a tulip glass, to be fair.

Taste is awesome, a modern classic orange-grapefruit bittersweet IPA with long, full flavor. A little boozy for my personal taste, but it's an IIPA, so....

Feel matches taste: long and full. Nice oily feel coats tongue, nice carbonation.

Overall 4.5, maybe 4.75 if served in better glass?

This one pours looking like orange hop sherbet, very hazy and completely opaque, with a thick white head, and a lot of lacing.

Smells absolutely wonderful, like mango pineapple juice with a hint of lime, from the Motueka hops. There's a bit of dankness in the aroma too, but it's basically all juice, baby.

This is the way you do a juice bomb. It's so tasty, with tons of mango, pineapple, and a good hit of lime from the Motueka. There's some grapefruit and tangerine as well. This tastes like a hop creamsicle, really, with a miniscule amount of bitterness on the finish.

This is medium bodied, really, really creamy and oaty, with a good level of carbonation.

I definitely need to try more beers from LIC Beer Project if this is the level of product they can put out. This was one of the best new IPAs I've had in a while.

Had this beer a number of times before including fresh at the brewery but forgot to review so I'm reviewing it now. Drank on tap out of a tulip. Beer pours out a near perfect light gold/yellow with a turbid full haze and a pinky of bright white head. Huge tropical fruits on the nose. Tons of passion fruit, mango and pineapple. Also had a bit of red fruit(think strawberry) as well. Much less green and herbaceous than it was when I had it fresh at the brewery. Taste follows the nose with a lovely medium minus bitterness. Red fruit slightly more pronounced than on the nose. Awesome medium plus creamy mouthfeel. Overall this beer amazing, definitely the best LIC, in fact, it's one of the best beers full stop. 99.5 points!

On tap at Taproom 307 in NYC, it's got classic New England IPA looks and the great fruity matching aroma. Wow, it's juicy, hoppy and very tasty, full of citrus flavors, tropical fruit and a nice amount of malty complexities. It's very smooth and enjoyable, a damn fine DIPA from LIC that is incredibly easy to drink for a brew at 8.5% ABV.

This beer is absolutely sublime. The best IPA that LIC has ever done, and that means quite a lot from a fanboy like me. Simply incredible.
The appearance is a perfectly opaque glowing golden haze. The big snowy head leave a thick sticky lacing. The nose is peaches & cream, lots of kiwi, and Tropical Blend V8 Splash. The nose, like everything about this beer, is perfect.
Taste is defined by loads of bubblegum and candy apples but there are notes of peaches, apricots, mango, and guava. The fruity profile is balanced out by a hint of dank earthiness. Hollows is malty in the best way possible. Gummy birthday cake malts are very distinct. The bitterness level on this one is also ideal.
Mouthfeel is (gasp!) perfect. Pillowy, fluffy, and creamy as heck. There is no hyperbole when I say that this is seriously one of the best IPAs I have ever had. Maybe THEE best. Seriously! Everything is represented perfectly. The haze, the nose, the fruitiness, the earthiness, the maltiness, the bitterness, the mouthfeel. It's all perfect!!
