A: Pours a clear yellow with 2 fingers worth of fizzy white head. It quickly disappears to nothing. It didn’t leave any lacing either.

S: Grainy malt for the most part otherwise the smell was pretty weak.

T: Light grains with maybe a touch of honey. Pretty light for the taste.

M: Light carbonation with a light body.

O: This beer was a bit like Sleeman’s Honey Brown but I would prefer this one to Sleeman’s. It wasn’t bad but I would probably select many different beers before drinking this one.

This is one of those very drinkable, not scary beers that BC does so well. I liked the clean and balanced profile and found the honey part nicely in the background. The finish was a tad sweet but acceptable for the style. A decent gateway beer that is worth trying on a patio in Vancouver this summer.
