Appearance: high carbonation, yellow-orange in color, 1 inch head with a rocky top, cloudy

Smell: grass, wheat, and subtle bananas

Taste: subtle wheat, lemons, and big bananas

Mouthfeel: light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet

Drinkability: A big winner from Mammoth. This is one of the best I have had in this style--at least state side. Super refreshing and lots of banana taste. I could session this. A great surprise. One of the best from my recent trip.

A nice unfiltered wheat beer.

A: Pours a hazy yellow/straw with a white head.

S: Nose is much more like a witbier than a bavarian hefeweizen, with notes of citrus, orange peel, cardamom, nutmeg, and fruity Belgian yeast esters.

T: Taste is roughly the same, orange and orange peel dominate, along side wheat, cardamom and nutmeg. Maybe some fruity Belgian yeast esters.

M: Medium-light bodied, smooth and refreshing.

O: It's the perfect cross between the mouthfeel and drinkability of a bavarian hefeweizen, and the fruity, spicy flavor profile of a Belgian witbier, which makes this an ideal wheat beer for a hot summer day. Definitely recommended if you can find it.
