This Triple IPA clocks in at 10.5% and is hopped exclusively with Citra. We then condition it on copious amounts of mangoes and passion fruit before packaging.

Pours a super hazy vibrant orange in color with a Quarter inch of white head that rapidly dissipates; this looks quite a bit like orange juice. Aroma is mango and pineapple. Tatse smooth mango, candied pineapple, other generic tropical fruits, and a bit of astringency in the finish. Medium-body and carbonation with a prickly astringency that seems to get a bit more intense with each passing sip. Overall this beer had a lot of great qualities that I really enjoyed. The one issue here is the astringency, it started slowly but after a few sips it became quite prevelant and negatively impacted my enjoyment of this beer. The astringent burn didn't match up to the infamous Never & Again but there were some parallels.

Traded for this a few months back and finally got around to it on this rainy night! While not a pure juice bomb, there was lots of citrus and slickness here to enjoy but as others on here have noted, there was just a bit too much burn and astringency here. Had this been a bit smoother, this could have been a great beer par with it's red-labeled counterpart!

The pour to this was nice as the beer looked like unfiltered orange juice, minus the pulp. More than enough head was found here and there was a decent amount of lacing along the back of my pint glass though it didn't form any coherent rings. A good amount of citrus and tropical fruit in the nose with more in the taste. Slick, juicy, and easygoing, everything was fine until it hit the back of my throat. Dang, why the burn? Was there too much powder here? I love garlic and pepper but not in a beer like this! Citrus pith and sour tartness combined with robust juiciness can be an addicting combination but not with this brew. I'll just do my best to block the back ou-oh, never mind. I'll just enjoy the next sip until I'm forced to take another...

Amazingly, the alcohol was well-hidden here which made attempting to decipher this that much easier. If you want to get burnt in every way possible, enjoy this beer. It's like tobasco for hopheads but without the accompanying desire to load up even more the next time around. A decent brew with a ton of unmet potential.

This is a big beer in every way. The color and aroma are amazing and in your face. Amazing flavor throughout. Big booze - big taste - big everything. A take no prisoners beer if there ever was one. Slight pepper burn on the very back end but all that flavor more than makes up for it. Excellent brew that I hope Magnify does again n again.

Reviews thus far pretty much nailed it with the main issues with this beer which is that burning and astringency flavor thats occurs on the finish of each sip of the beer. It's enough to detract from what would otherwise be not only a Superior fruit IPA but an excellent Triple IPA at that. But the off flavor burns the throat as consumption continues and begins to overpower the greater qualities of the beer. Magnify makes some awesome beers but this one goes in the books as a smaller case of Never and Again.

Regardless though, underneath I can see a great beer. And for that I give them credit.

Plus Im sure all of ya got cray when you saw the pour on this can, straight up Juice!

ALLLL ABOARRRRRRD!

L - oh my lanta... what is this color?! Pure mango juice. Probably the least transluscent beer I've ever seen. Glowing radioactive yellow ball of gold. At the right angle, the bottom of my glass disappears and all I see is desert marigold yellow. The color is so pervasice, not even the distortion of half and inch of glass can stop it!

S - pith. Raw pith. Lemons, clementines, oranges, mangos. Slight candied sweetness on the end.

T - lupulin galore. Taste is a little more restrained than the nose and look suggest, but it's still packed full of flavor and bitterness. The mango and passionfuit make themselves painfully present with that signature natural-tasting, gritty, pithy Magnify style. This ain't the fruit candy or fruit juice, this is like biting into the fruit itself. Pineapple and spicy grapefruit rind. Once the initial juiciness wears off, you're left with a mouth-puckering dryness of raw, rindy, peppery proportions. Pithy and tart. Acidity burns the throat on the way down.

F - doesn't quite feel like 10.5%! Still heavy, but not syrupy. Creamy, but with a prickly, airy feel.

O - chock full of flavor, but I fear it is going down the path of Mago Tago and Never and Again in that the acidity starts to take over, especially as it warms. It's like fire. Battery acid. I love the flavor though!

Looks like a glass of liquid gold. Mango & passion fruit are prominent on the nose. Big mango flavor upfront and passion fruit in the aftertaste, but has that typical mango bitter burn to a moderate degree. Mouthfeel is thick/chewy, a little creamy, with the prickly mango tingle/burn.
