A - Medium to dark gold colored pour with very frothy and sticky white lacing on top. The foam clings to the sides of the glass.

S - Very sticky tangerine, blueberry, and papaya.

T - Sticky and spicy fruit dominate this beer. Some blueberry, but prominent peppery papaya and tangerine dominate this beer from start to finish. Nice lingering peppery citrus finish.

M - Big medium body and coats the mouth with a healthy layer of spicy citrus.

O - This is a fantastic Double IPA. Highly recommended.

Reviewed four days after canning. Poured into Magnify 2nd Anniversary commemorative glass. It pours a cloudy, opaque honey-orange with a thick, milk-white head and lacing that lasted through the pour. The smell was a little muted: lemon peel, grapefruit, pine needles, yeast, and a faint hoppiness. The taste is great! The mosaic hops are evident from the first sip and blend nicely with the citrus. This variant is more subtle than the base Rock Me, and doesn't feature the pepper and astringent finish. I think it tastes far better than the original. It features a medium body with pleasant carbonation, and the 8% ABV is perfect. Magnify really improved on the original. This is outstanding!

Traded for this a while ago and finally got around to it on this rainy and muggy midsummer night. If there was one beer from Magnify that I'd had to pick as a typical northeast-style IPA, this would be it. Dank, juicy, and deceptively weak in alcohol, this was everything that one would want in a tasty beer that went down easily and smoothly!

Nice pour to this as the beer was an off gold with plenty of cloudiness to it. A full head and fair amount of lacing in the form of rings was left behind as I started to work my way through this. Not a lot to the hose but there were hints of melon, stone fruit pith, and some yeast. The basic malt followed through in the nose along with some cracker bite, passion fruit juice, and soft, dank hops that gave this some much-needed depth. Very smooth but not terribly outstanding, there wasn't much notable about this but the carbonation was light enough to allowed the mild notes to emerge and linger as this warmed up.

This didn't feel like an American Double / Imperial IPA since the booze was hardly noticeable and didn't even lend itself to any strong warming effect. While not a bad beer, this needed more fruit and hops in it to stand out from the crowded field in this style. Anyone looking for a textbook example would be pleased with this though it's not on the level of the better brews from Tree House or Trillium. As a local beer, this was one that I could take pride in. Nicely executed!

L: Slightly hazed clear orange with a big creamy white head. Very good retention, and sheets of lacing.

S: Blood orange/ruby red grapefruit flesh, pine cone, blueberry candy, orange pith.

T: Lots of red grapefruit and blood orange upfront; the sweetness of the flesh and juice but then the massive bitterness of pure peel and pith. The malt is toasty biscuit with some honey. Orange and honey blossom notes. Hints of mango and papaya. Then some pine and a huge grapefruit peel bitterness on the back end that lingers.

F: Medium-full, well carbonated, smooth and slick. Finishes bitter but also slightly sweet, leaving the palate sticky with hop oils and residual sugars.

DDH Rock Me Dr Saic is bright golden in color, with a smooth starfruit flavor and multi-tropical nose, and ultra creamy mouth feel. This is the first Magnify brew I've had, and I'll definately be looking to have more.

Pours burnt orange with a one finger white head. Really nice lacing that holds its place as it fades. Aroma of tropical fruits with a raspberry backbone. Taste kiwi, big mosaic, tropical fruit and dank. Very nice DIPA.

Cloudy gold color. The modest head settles to rim bubbles but it leaves excellent rings of lace.

Soft aroma of light white toast and green raw hop. Very light.

The flavor is stronger. First I catch some warming alcohol with a lightly toasted pale malt. Full bodied and lowly carbonated. Long aftertaste with bitterness coming through most strongly. Still, there's a solid malt presence.
