This ale is a kettle sour that uses lactobacillus, fermented on house ale yeast and then aged on concord grapes. Typical to any sour, this ale is pleasantly flavored and zings your tastebuds over and over.
Malts: Torrified Wheat, Pale Wheat, Extra Pale Pils
Hops: Comet and Hallertau

Pours a light rose, ample foamy head. Aroma is light and fruity, a little soapy. Tastes artificially sweet, big grape flavor. Like Concord grape jelly. Love the low abv. Pretty crisp and refreshing, interesting but not my favorite. Probably a little past it’s prime.

16 oz draft served in a shaker pint glass at Rams Head Roadhouse. Pours a light pink/purple with a small head. Aroma features lightly tart wheat with hints of grape and (black?)berries. Taste follows but with a little more conviction. Fairly well-carbonated with a sparkly mouthfeel. Overall this is a solid fruited Berliner weisse!

Fordham Brewing Co. "The 11th Sour"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, "BOTTLING DATE: 04/17/2017"
Look: Hazy peach colored body beneath a short head of bright white that holds surprisingly well for a sour beer but leaves only spotty lacing behind.
Smell: Clean and mineralish with a bit of sweetish malt and some very mild malt.
Taste: Fruity, lightly tart, and mildly mineralish. The fruitiness is at least partially derived from concord grapes but they're not specifically clear. It's nicely balanced between sweetish malt, fruit, and light tartness - there's very little bitterness if any involved. It's refreshing and interesting, and fairly satisfying - it could be bigger or sharper or more fruity but it's actually quite nice and very drinkable as it is.
Feel: Light-medium in body and lightly crisp with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation.
Overall: A really easy to drink, lightly sour and lightly fruity ale that could be enjoyed at any time of the year.
