Great spot in the Gas Lamp. Simple but delicious food menu - reccomend the chicken dishes....very large portions so plan to share. Very nice tap menu and decent bottle list.

I started off at the wrong place. :) I guess I wasn't paying enough attention, but Quad Alehouse is on the 3rd floor of a building in the Gaslamp district. The ground floor is another sister bar. I did a bit of research beforehand, and I thought it was odd, that the taplist on the ground floor establishment was half BMC not anything resembling what I saw online. I paid for my pint and went upstairs.
The area was quite nice. Large, open, and wooden benches, tables/stools, and a bar with 2 sides open to the street below. The taplist was good, mostly SoCal stuff, but they had a quality list.
The server was very attentive and cool. I had a salad. Yes, a beef brisket salad. It was very good!
A great place to hang out with friends after work for beer and food.
