Bottled and poured into a small handled glass mug to periodically top up
Pours a very light brown body with big fluffy white head
Aroma is big citrusy hops
Flavour slightly sweet popcorn butter toffee then bitter
This is seriously close to an alcoholic IPA

Pours a dark amber with fine, wispy foam.

Smell is floral with hints of sweet malt, citrus and leather.

Taste is sweet upfront, followed by some floral notes, citrus and a moderate bitterness. Leans more towards an English IPA than American.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a decent IPA, well balanced but not overly exciting.

The colour is dark gold, almost brown; the liquid is clear. The two finger head is warm white and airy, it sinks slowly to a thick lid leaving some lacing on the glass.

The (not that strong) smell got dense notes of caramel and brown bread. Citric fruits like grapefruit, lemon peel and spicy bitter oranges.

The first taste is more like an English IPA with caramel malt and clean spicy hops. Growing notes of citric peels (grapefruit, lemon) and mango. Slowly growing bitterness. Medium body. The aftertaste got passing herbs, semi-sweet bread-like malt, some warming alcohol, spicy/floral hops and a touch of caramel cookies. The finish is balanced with some candy-like sweetness and floral bitterness.

The carbonation is medium strong; the many small bubbles are fresh and long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.

Not that bad for a macro brewery AIPA. It is balanced with some new world hops, without any major problems.

Magnum, Amarillo, Cascade, Galaxy.
Hazy copper/amber beer, thin beige head, low retention.
Smell - marmelade, candied fruits, citrus, tropical notes.
Taste - sweet grainy, citrusy and resiny, not very bitter.
Medium body, soft carbonation.
Decent swedish crafty.

Interestingly I had this beer on a ship full of IPA. Yes, the ferry going to Wolf Island in the High Coast in Sweden had a stack of these. I really enjoyed it.

(L) It has an amber fairly clear hue with a thin white head that dissipated quickly.

(A) It has a nice but modest hoppy and citrusy aroma.

(T) The taste was grapefruit, lemon, it was light yet it had a nice hoppy bitterness towards the end.

(F) It was crisp and fairly easy drinking and yet with enough taste. It goes well with a windy sea breeze on a summer day.

Look: light amber, head quickly dissipates
Smell: citrusy, hop-forward--but not assertive enough
Taste: citrusy, hop-forward--galaxy hops come through nicely
Feel: light-bodied, crisp, high IBUs--so I'm a bit biased & admittedly uprating this beer
Overall: I'll drink it again considering its relatively low price in Taiwan
