Was able to bring home a can of Sprendrups from a visit to Stockholm, Sweden. The appearance is golden clear with good carbonation that eventually fades....much like the white head it created. The smell was typical of pilsner beer...Saaz hops, barley, etc. The taste also was not much different than most pilsners. The mouthfeel was fine....the low ABV really made this beer a session....which is good because in Kiruna the day lasts almost 24hrs in the summer time.

A: Golden with a white head.
S: Flowery hops.
T: Malt, moderate hoppy bitterness, a bit buttery in the aftertaste.
M: Light, ordinary carboration, a bit too muck carborated for my personal taste.
If someone, who's not a beer lover but still a beer drinker, asks for "an ordinary beer", this is the stuff. Not bad, but not that interesting. Typical eurolager. This is the low alcohol version of Old Gold, so the lack of sting from the alcohol might be the thing that's missing.
Then again this is not the beer style of my choice.

The colour is pale yellow; the large light foam forms a soft uneven cone.
The smell is full of Saaz hops, lots of bitter notes with some white bread and a flowery flavour of lilac and dandelion (yes!). Very interesting.
The carbonation is fresh and unexpectedly soft for a German-style pils, which makes the taste ever more finely tuned.
The taste is bitter and dry with a flowery touch. It is not very complex, but well balanced and well crafted. The long aftertaste is bitter with notes of bitter almonds, dandelion and a trace of sweetness.
This is a weaker version of Old Gold, the prestige German pils from Spendrups Brewery made to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the stronger variant. To my surprise, I found this beer much more complex and well made than the original, which I feel is just a simple bitter brew.
