Considering the price-point, this is a very fine , but unique, IPA. With that said, don't expect anything exceptional - it's 'just' bearable. Which is more than acceptable for a 14 SKr beer.

A screw-cork always makes me question the quality, as well as the Eco-labeling...

A: Pour is golden with rather large bubbles. The medium large white head is way to soapy and uneven. Poor lacings.

S: Strangly enough; the first thing that comes to mind is the marzipan from Euro Strong Lager... Sweet and artificial malts. Bitter hops.

T: Sour notes, artificial. Bitterness. Sweet. Otherwise, quite close to the nose.

M: Long sour, unpleasant aftertaste. Body is sticky, medium while carbonation is rather rich, but smoot.

O: What was this? If I didn't know, my guess would have been Euro Strong Lager, and not a very nice one.

The colour is pale gold, the liquid all clear. The finger thick compact head is off-white, it sinks slowly leaving no lacing. It looks more like an export lager than an APA.

The smell is light. Some malty bread-like notes, hints of dough, toffee and oxidised spices. It is quite frowsy. Some anonymous bitter flavours in the background.

The taste is... unbalanced. Sticky malt sweetness, frowsy notes of old bread and a sharp chemical bitterness that just don't stick together with the malt. Wet paper – pulp. Medium body. The aftertaste is frowsy and chemical with lime/citric acid-like sour-bitter flavours. Molasses and honey in the finish.

The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles are very fresh almost sharp. The liquid is at the same time dry and a bit sticky.

One of the oddest interpretations of the American Pale Ale concept I have had. I didn't finish the botte.

A clear brass colored brew, a white, quickly receding head, some lacing, small curtains.

A weak grassy hop smell, sour dishrag.

Tasting sour, lemon, battery acid, bitter seeds.

Medium carbonation, a thin texture and small body, a dry coarse finish.

Nope, this was the only time I tried this.
