The colour is pale gold (6 EBC), the liquid clear. The three finger head is airy and off-white. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing.

The smell is hoppy and sweet. Grape fruit, bitter oranges, asphalt, orange juice. Some caramel and prunes.

The taste is quite bitter and hoppy. American notes of grape fruit, bitter oranges, some pine needles and sweet fruits. It is not very bitter. Medium to full body. The aftertaste is somewhat (chemical) oily with citric fruits, some asphalt and solvents. The finish is citric.

The carbonation is medium strong; the many small bubbles long-lived. The liquid is mid-smooth.

Not bad for a macro lager with a budget. Some odd oil-asphalt flavours, though.
