A: Pour is dark brown with lots of red hints. The head is creamy, medium large tan. Dissipates into only little lace.
S: Light roasted sweet malt. Very faint bitter hops. Bready, but not doughy - rather fresh. Some chocolate.
T: Sweet light roasted malt. Some dark bread. A little bit burned.
M: Aftertaste lingers with a nice balance between sweet and bitter. Body is medium to full and carbonation is moderate.
D: Considering the price and the fact that this is a Macro X-mas-beer: A great product. This must be one of the top Macro X-mas brews in Sweden.

Can, brought to me by a friend from Sweden. Dark colour, with very nice red reflections to the light, thick creamy beige head, though it doesn't hold much. smell is earthy and roasted with fruits, spices and cocoa. Earthy flavour, taste is rough, with caramel, fruits, berries, this beer really worths it.

Brown, dark orange liquid, much foam that settles quickly, no noticeable lacing.
A sweet smell, mixed with raisins, bread and some yeast.
Taste is dominated with sweet aromas, a hint of alkohol and rather flat.
Too low carbonation.
I'm surprised by the flatness and suspect that there might be some wrong with this batch (or bottle).
Must probably re-review this beer some day.

The colour is dark brown-red, the big pale beige foam is quite compact.
The smell is fresh with a light sourish note; the malt is somewhat burned and sweet. A trace of cocoa is present.
The carbonation is refreshing; it feels OK in the mouth.
The taste is rather mild and a bit sweet with some notes of burned malt, brown sugar, sweet strong white wine, some diacetyl. The body is good and the bitterness starts with a very gentle taste that slowly grows to a well-balanced malty taste. The aftertaste is short with some notes of a gentle bitterness and a touch of boiled vegetables.
I found this beer very easy to drink; it will probably work fine as an after dinner drink when you just had enough of yuletide food. I found this lager a pleasant surprise as the Krönelin Brewery mostly brews generic lagers in an American/Australian style.
