Appearance: Pours the color of raspberry juice with a faint burnt orange hue; the head rises to a finger and provides wispy lacing
Smell: Raspberry jam and oak alongside both floral and earthy elements
Taste: Floral and raspberry flavors intermingle with an earthy funk emerging; oak arrives, in the middle, perfectly tart into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; moderate pucker
Overall: I am a sucker for raspberry sours and this is a really good one; the floral and funky elements really add to the complexity

Bright orange clear body and no head. Smells of fresh picked raspberries with bold tartness and sweetness, with light oak, fruit punch, and hibiscus, wonderful! Taste features jammy raspberry and everything from the nose, so delicious! Feel stay light and dry with the tart and juicy front, well balanced. Clearly an american sour with the bold jammy juiciness, but one that is done well

Batch #4 2019
Poured a lovely hazy magenta with a golden translucence in the light. Half finger head with a vigorous pour, losing it almost immediately, no lacing. Has legs, looks like a rośe.
Brett and lactobacillus yeasts come to the front with a mushroom earthiness, Sweet oak interlaced with an undertone of berry
Tart berries ring through, dimensions of yeasty soil and mellow oak/walnut wood
Feel is on par with a good sour, bite and dryness that’s accompanied by an aperitif levity
A well-crafted sour, probably nothing to write home about for most, but as a believer in the style as a means of apothecary and aromatherapy, this is one does the trick

Got to try batch 1 and 2 in the same tasting and Batch 2 is a much better representation of what the beer should be in my opinion. Batch 1 had a very subtle pink hue where the second batch was a bit darker color from the raspberry. The smell of the beer was much fruitier in batch 2. The taste was much more flavorful with tart jammy raspberry in batch 2 as well. Overall both were solid beers but it seems like they knew where they needed to go and did it.

My first try of this beer and Dio in general. Had it with some friends alongside some top sours/wild ales, and this really held it's own. Awesome nose and beautiful color. Flavor was nicely balanced and more complex than we expected. Really glad I took the chance on these guys with their membership and looking forward to the next few releases.
