Bought this as a single at Siciliano's at KBS weekend based solely on the reviews here. It wasn't infected but as soon as it hit my lips I regretted it. Took a lot of water to get that taste out of my mouth.

Poured from a bottle into a glass that resembled a rather thin Willibecher. The beer has a gorgeous 1/4" tan head that stayed a while. The aroma was somewhat muted, but sweetness and dried fruits could be detected. The taste followed with the dried fruit components being the major players. The mouthfeel was very thick and almost oily but not objectionable. The carbonation was appropriate for the style. Overall, this is a very good beer. I'm eager to visit Roak and try some more of their beer.

12 oz brown bottle
Kashmir Strong Dark Ale is dark brown in color producing a 3/4-finger tan head that dissipated to a ring of foam in my tulip glass. The nose is sweet with dark fruits then a pleasant aroma of rum soaked dark cherries and caramel is noticed. The taste is similar but more complex than the aroma. The flavor starts off sweet with dark fruits upfront followed by dark cherries, caramel, raisin and even a light toasted malt. The mouth feel is medium bodied, smooth and has a sweet, slightly dry and very light bitter finish.
This is my first brew from ROAK Brewing and I am impressed. I will sure revisit.
