The label describes it perfectly . A minor criticism is that it is a little too bitter at the end.

16 FL OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beverage pours like mango juice. It is hazy AF and topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing. I get some tropical fruit. Solid NEIPA. It was a little old and need to revisit this one.

Solid brew. Refreshing with tropical fruit notes and not heavy for a double. It may be a touch sweeter than I would prefer but it is not cloying. It finishes clean and the feel is not sticky. Great depth of flavors.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 24, 2018. Canned on 12/18/17. Brewed with Amarillo, Galaxy, El Dorado, Citra and Azacca hops. Look is hazy and orange. Tropical and juicy aroma and flavor with a slight dank bitterness to balance out the sweetness.

A: Pours a very murky medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate amounts of medium honey + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very slightly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/tangerine, tropical/guava, citrus/grapefruit zest, citrus/grapefruit pith, tropical/papaya, and dank resinous hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel malts with a caramel + honey sweetness.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel malts with a caramel + honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/tangerine, tropical/guava, citrus/grapefruit zest, citrus/grapefruit pith, tropical/papaya, and dank resinous hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving juicy hop flavors lingering.

M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp followed by a light amount of creaminess and a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink hiding the relatively high ABV really well. Really nice combination of juicy hop flavors/aromas and sweetness with some dankness. Definitely a beer I would drink again, reminds me of an NEIPA with a hint of old school West Coast IPA.

I'm not going to pour this. Enjoying from a 16 oz. can.
The smell is citrusy and juicy. Pretty piney too.
The taste is the same. Pretty good.
Soft and dry mouthfeel.
Overall, I like the Roak stuff I've had so far. Pretty good.
