The colour is amber; the liquid hazy. The two finger head is off-white and compact, it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is malty with some earth, smoke and … I cannot describe in any other word than “farts”.
The taste is smoked/earthy with odd notes of barnyard and cow manure. Some caramel sweetness. Medium body. The aftertaste got less off-flavours: Caramel malt, sharp bitterness and some dried fruits. The finish is short and malty.
The carbonation is sharp; the many small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is harsh.
I had another bottle of this beer some days ago. It had some smoked flavours, but it wasn’t terrible as this one is.
