Came in after an Oiler game AND Red Bull Crashed Ice final was the same night. Not too crowded. Went in to get first round at the bar and waited 5 minutes to even get looked at. Servers didn’t seem interested in our business. Nice menu with plenty of good beers but found out they were out of quite a few options. I’d rather have a CURRENT beer list scribbled on a piece of notebook paper than a professionally designed and printed menu that isn’t current. Been to Craft in Calgary and liked that one a lot more. I hope they can improve the service and it does well, Sherlock Holmes across the street packs them in.

Craft Beer Market was more up my alley than the underwhelming Beer Revolution. This place has an impressive, gargantuan beer list, vibrant atmosphere, and solid food. Service was slow but amicable and my work friends were happy with their experience. While I wanted to go with something local, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try Fresh Squeezed on tap, and it didn't disappoint. The Black Butte Porter was in equally fine form. Sure there's a bit of a corporate/chainy vibe to this place, but I would still come back. A worthy spot.

Update (or addition) - whichever you prefer to think of this as. I've been to YEG's version of the Market a few times now and I've had to reconsider my initial impression. This is a big space, with a wonderfully diverse selection of beer - WHEN they have it on tap. During our last visit, my wife and I had to go through at least three selections before finding something they were not out of. Service is, well, OK, and it does not bode well to see this massive space so empty, even after an Oilers game.
