Look - Clear golden in color, two fingers of rocky white head, great retention, lively carbonation.
Aroma - Quite yeasty, hint of banana, light coriander.
Taste - Sweet but dry biscuity malt, not as much banana as the aroma, faint apple, puckery, yeast is fairly mild but does have a bit spice. Finishes fairly dry with just a plain residual sweetness. Alcohol well hidden.
Feel - Medium bodied, soft but refreshing carbonation, dry.

Overall - One of the more subdued Tripel's I've had. What it lacks in complexity it makes up for in it's drinkability.

Poured to a tulip Duvel glass.

A: The body is yellow with minimal haze, being very crisp. The head is white, one finger thick having good retention but no lacing.
So: The aroma is very yeasty and has a big malt profile just like a BPA.
T: The taste is very sweet at the beginning, going after a cider acidity finishing on a mild bitterness.
M: The body is medium. Carbonation is nominal. No alcohol noticed.
O: It's a good Tripel for an entry level.

This beer always makes me happy. Its balance of flavors and full body is spot-on. Probably the world's best commercially available Abbey Pale Ale.

Very lively tripel, with a pale golden colour and lots of bobbles, resulting in an impressive head of foam. This seem to block the smell of citric and malt a bit though. Taste is vineous and earthy, not as fruity as the average tripel. Very balanced, though complexity is a bit lacking. Nice tripel nonetheless.
