L- Extremely pale straw and very cloudy, so it looks a milky very pale yellow/tan - unusual! Pours with 2Cm pillowy white head. The former is quite weird looking, the latter nice.... how to rate!? (ps 15 mins later. The head is holding very well).
S- Very wheaty indeed, a sort of piquant woodiness.
T- The piquant woodiness carries over here, and then there a slightly sourish note in here too. I haven't read the bottle or other revews here etc so am guided only my by taste. I'll read other reviews after posting, sure to name facets that I can't quite ID.
F- Probably quite versatile season-wise. Refreshing and dry enough in warmer months, complex enough flavour to entertain the palate in cooler ones.
O- I've drunk more German weissbrau than Belgian wits. This is more forthrightly 'different' from say lager than I'd expect a weissbrau to be. Ie like a weissbrau but with the 'wheat' facets amped up. I'm enjoying it, but it's a taste palate is such that I'd get tired of after 2 glasses, and then need a change.
Bought from BelgiumInABox Antwerp/BE for home delivery to me in London/UK. 330ml bottle. BB: 13/12/2022

Pours a cloudy golden-yellow color with a huge top of white creamy head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma is of lemon, corriander and wheat. The taste follows the nose with notes of lemon and corriander. The flavour has a medium bitterness and some sour notes. The flavour is a little watery. Fizzy carbonation with a light body. Smooth and crisp mouthfeel.
A good enough witbier, but nothing extremely exiting about it.

From Optimus Beer. In Teku glass. At dinner, with macarroni bolognesa. I Don't use to enjoy the style much, but this is fairly good, withwell a balanced in the spicyness and better body and feel than usual

Poured into tulip.
Pours cloudy golden with excellent thick white head, good retention.
Smell - pleasant citrusy, spicy, wheat, some skunk took place, but vanished soon.
Taste - cereal, cardamom, citrus. Bad balance.
Watery, light beer with remarkable carbonation level.

The colour is cold yellow; the liquid is hazy. The white compact head is four fingers high. It leaves some lacing on the glass.
The smell is sweet with spicy notes of bitter oranges, cloves and nutmeg. Some bitter herbs and a touch of soap.
The taste is dry with passing earthy-yeasty flavours. Spicy notes of nutmeg and cloves. Light to medium body. The aftertaste got growing sweetness, hints of alcohol, earthy floral notes and a touch of mint. The finish is sweet with hints of wheat flour.
The carbonation is strong, the large bubbles are sharp and long-lived. The liquid is somewhat smooth.
A sweet witbier, lacking most of the fresh spicy flavours.
