Notes:
0 IBU IPA w/Citra and Mosaic. We try to refrain from using the excessively used terminology "juice/juicy" for our IPAs, but this is seriously just straight up hop juice. We love this one and we hope you do too.

Great smell and taste, but I don't want to drink a beer with zero IBUs. That's messed up.

The beer pours a white and creamy head that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a cloudy yellow with tints of orange. It looks pretty nice.
The smell is good. It has a good juicy smell of melon, orange, and a slight bitter note in the finish.
The taste is good. It is surprisingly bitter and grassy orange note that gives way to a sweeter orange and light melon note.
The feel is good. The body has a medium and creamy feel; thus fairly drinkable with a tingling carbonation to it. There is also some acidity. There isn't too much but enough to make it similar to orange juice.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer and ipa. It's fairly sweet and juicy with only light bitterness to it.

Received in a gift box - I could have sworn this was a wish list item, and perhaps it was and I've just removed it or forgotten it, or given up like I did on life? Who knows. The beer is here, let's review it.
Appearance and smell are the first indications that this is something different and special - it's instantly sweet and citrusy in the nose, and the appearance is nice as well... orange, looks rich, head is light, but man does the body look thick.
My first taste is a bit surprising. The body is a rich fistful of orange - still a definite, persistent hop presence, with a very lightly bitter bite, but all of that orange is fantastic. The body is thick and pleasantly creamy - it doesn't have that lactose creaminess that imparts a dirty finish, so it's much more akin to a natural orange in the finish - plenty of bright, clean citrus.
This is so different. Rich, natural orange, light hop bitterness, clean citrus and slightly acidic finish. I'm a fan - I'd drink this beer a lot, if I could. It's not sessionable, and I don't want to drink many in a sitting - but if I could have one a day, I'd be a happy camper.
Well done, Veil. I've become a believer.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a snifter glass. Had and orange color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very enticing aroma of hops, malt, citrus fruit, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a good shot of citrus fruit (oranges, in particular), a little bit of malt (not overly prevalent), a decent amount of hops (more than expected), and some tropical fruit (passion fruit). While this flavor is hoppier than your typical NE IPA flavor, it's still sweet and effervescent. A lively and focused flavor.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A rock solid beer. Drinkable.

The Veil Brewing Co. "IdontwanttoBU"
on tap at the brewery on 17 June 2017
$5 / 6 oz.
Look: Like a glass of orange juice. Thin bright white head falls but leaves spotty lacing behind.
Smell: Hop resin, grapefruit, orange.
Taste: Citrusy over a sweetish grainy malt base. It's listed as having no IBUs but there is some bitterness to it. I'm not sure if there are some hops added while the wort is still warm or not, or if perhaps they've added citrus peels to it, or if they've even tested it after the fact, but there is some bitterness. It's balanced though, which is weird, and it has a dry finish. Juicy would be the word. Citrusy and berry-like with some white wine-like character.
Feel: Medium to medium-light in body and gently crisp.
Overall: I am very surprised. I was skeptical that a zero IBU IPA could work but it does - massively! Well worth trying.

Bought at the Veil Brewing Company in Scott's Addition section of Downtown Richmond,Virginia. 4 pack of 16oz cans for $14+tax! Not bad! Poured hazy orange in glass with immediate aromas of those tropical fruits OH YEAH!! This is just a IPA not a double but still no bitterness whatsoever! Great balance between the citra and mosaic hops and maybe the malt underneath! Very nicely constructed beer! Awesome taste and mouthfeel! Can't believe this is the One Year Anniversary of this amazing Brewery! As always thank you all the staff at the Veil for doing an excellent job of welcoming everyone - as soon as you arrive you feel like you are at Home! Enjoy the Summer and drink these amazing beers!! Hazy mango orange color. White head.
Juicy and tropical. Mango, orange, grapefruit citrus. Earthy and floral. Soft bodied. I still cannot believe this has zero IBU.
Medium bodied with some bitterness/stickiness.
Great IPA that was fun to try. Very unique if it really has 0 ibu.
