Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.30%

Availability: Limited (brewed once)

Notes / Commercial Description:
Toof Toof Ache Ache is the double dry-hopped version of our beloved 6.3% IPA Toof Ache. We are super stoked on how this turned out. Hopped intensely with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Columbus. We also added a bunch of organic orange juice to the kettle. We even increased the amount of juice added slightly in comparison to standard Toof Ache. The intent wasn't to be an orange juice bomb, but it is incredibly juicy!

@ The Veil

Foggy gold with a creamy head that leaves behind some sticky lacing. Smells of juicy hops and fresh wort...orange juice concentrate, dank weed, and sticky pine resin. Bright orange and lemon citrus along with peaches and a general fresh hoppy greenness. Smooth medium-light body, dry, and drinkable. Delicious.

Appearance - Arrives hazy and amber colored with a nice head that leaves some splashes of lace

Smell: Somewhat dank, with apricot and other stone and tropical fruit tones

Taste: Fruit forward with the stone and tropical fruit forward; moderately bitter, with a resinous aspect; nice and juicy

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Nice but not as intensively juicy as some of the other IPAs I have tasted recently

Poured into a Wicked Weed snifter. Bottom of can says 09/06/16.

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 3/4 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a mostly full sheet of sheer surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves large clots behind.

S- Good aroma of stone fruit and resinous dankness bringing to mind apricot,

T- Good synthesis of fruity hop notes plus lots of bitter, piney resinous quality. Easy to drink, somewhat juicy. Slight malt sweetness.

M- On the dryer side with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- The usual intensity of flavor I've come to expect from Veil.
