Can release on 20 June 2017. Drove down from FXBG. Nice DIPA with good hop character and traditional creamy northeast style DIPA qualities. Worth a try.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from a sixteen ounce can a hazy light orange under a 1" thick white head which leaves splotchy lace. Aroma is dank, piney and citrusy. Flavors follow the nose with more tropical/mango. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finishes dry and sticky and resiny. Very nice.

12 oz can undated, but from 2/7/17 release and poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: 2F head with pretty good retention, some lacing, thin cap and ring. Beer is a hazy copper.

S: Lots of hops in here, and the combination seems to result in an earthy, dank, ripe tropical fruit type nose. The Simcoe and Centennial seem to be the winners.

T: Follows nose. Earthy dankness, some overripe pineapple and passionfruit, maybe, with a hint of orange rind. Some bitterness and pine on finish.

F: Medium body, light carbonation (maybe too light?), good construction and balance, bonus points for using all those hops and getting a nice soft mouthfeel out of it.

O: Probably would rather have the two beers separately, but still very good.

Poured from a 16 oz can (canned 02/07/2017) into a Veil Brewing house glass.

Appear: nice rich golden haze. nice thick fluffy fingers worth of head. little soapy but in a good way.

Nose: DANK. Over ripe mango and pineapple maybe passionfruit and guava. Nice biscuity slight caramel sweet malt bill. There's also that green dank resiny note.

Taste: Follows the nose for sure. nice ripe mango maybe a little peach. there's a nice herbal dankness. little piney resinous bitter note. Just playing around at the end and in the after taste. All the notes just play so nicely.

Mouth: medium light carbonation makes it full. nice and creamy like I like.

Over: Damn this head up nicely in the can and matured a little bit. Love the nose. Taste is awesome. Not quiet Dirt Nap or last batch (2/21/17) of IdontEVER but still really great beer from the Veil. These guys definitely put out some of the best DIPAs in the world.
