Never Aloha is a 4.9% Hawaiian Punch inspired Gose. For the salt addition on this batch we used Red Alaea Hawaiian sea salt. We added hundreds and hundreds of pounds of passionfruit, pineapple, mango, blood orange, and cherry purée into this one. We also salt baed in a small amount of Hawaiian Punch powder for good measure. It literally tastes like an adult tropical fruit punch.

On-tap at the Veil Brewing Co., Richmond, VA
A: The beer is cloudy ruby red grapefruit gin color. It poured with a white collar around the edge of the glass and some lacing on the surface.
S: Strong aromas of passionfruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very tropical with flavors of passionfruit along tithe notes of blood oranges and mangos with hints fo pineapple. There is a bit of saltiness and slight hints of sourness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is like drinking a sour and salty version of a Hawaiian Punch with all natural flavors.

Hazy papaya colored with a small head that fades and leaves little to no lacing. Aromas of adult fruit punch. Notes of sticky guava, cherry, pineapple, passionfruit, Meyer lemon, ocean spritz and orange. Light toward medium, puckering and dry but highly drinkable. Stunning, simply stunning. Easily the best Gose I've ever had and one of the best beers I've had.

Late March release, 2017. 16 oz can obtained in trade. Poured into Teku glass.
L: Almost no head when poured, what there is reduces to a thin ring in no time, no lacing. Beer is a hazy light pink, like pink grapefruit juice.
S: Tons of tropical fruit like pineapple, mango, passionfruit, and orange. Really does resemble Hawaiian Punch as far as I can remember. Light yeast and light salt/sea air on back end. Quite nice.
T: Seriously, so close to Hawaiian Punch, but fortunately not as sweet. Just tons of pineapple, passionfruit, mango, and other tropical fruits. Some lime peel. As I said, sweetness does not run away. Balanced by yeast and saline sea taste on finish, which likewise does not run away with sour. Nicely done.
F: Light to medium body, a tad more than most goses, but not an issue. Great construction melding the flavors together and great balance.
O: Fabulous fruity Gose. The Veil does not disappoint with its Never series.

I'm really torn on this one. The base gose is very, very good. The Hawaiian Punch taste throws me off. It does tsste just like Hawaiian Punch (with an appropriate hint of gose saltiness).
