Notes: We done did it again! We took our 100% Citra TIPA We Ded Mon and hit it with a double dry-hopping. Don't even know what to say about this one. Clocking it at 11%, this is just straight hop jooze.

I'm not going to proceed with a standard review that comments on each rated aspect of the beer. This one is just too weird for that standard formula.....

This thing is Basically a cross between chewing on a fresh hop cone, a shot of vodka and chewing the meat of an acorn.

Bitter pine, very dry earthy tones, liquid sand.

The liquid is a rusty tinted gold, brash and brawny. Boozy sunshine, liquid daydream.

Noses are a funny feature when you think about it. Tart mango, orange sunshine marmalade and termite dust.

Complexity is a bottomless pit of weird science and pathosis. Sturdy, hot mouthfeel powerful resonances.

L - 1/2 finger head atop a murky orange body.

S - heavy grapefruit, some skunk, weed, a little booze.

T - follows the nose. A skunk let loose in a grapefruit factory. Low sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Moderate booziness.

F - medium-full body with minimal carb.

O - quite a monster of a TIPA.

Pours a very hazy but beautiful dull orange color with a small white head and decent lacing.

The smell explodes with citrus hops and stone fruit.

The taste is full of peach and mango with a nice orange behind it. It's a flavor I've come to expect after trying a couple other from Veil. There is a dank pine on the end that lingers with bitterness.

The mouthfeel is high on carbonation and medium thick.

Overall a great beer with very little hint of the alcohol. I've only tried three beers from Veil, but they all seem to have a similar hop profile.

Looks like unfiltered apple cider with just a ring of head and virtually no lacing. Smells and tastes of orange, some grapefruit pith, onion, pine and mild biscuit. Full bodied, lightly carbonated, moderate bitterness and dry finish.

It's just a dirty, dingy, muddy orange thing that looks a little like OJ with a splash of cranberry juice. Head was not so much. Tried to get a little action on the pour but all I got was a thin fizzy film, which accurately describes the lacing as well. Nose is a run between green onion garlic dank and tangerine, with the kind of hop spicing that will start to sting your nostrils if you keep inhaling it long enough. Taste takes no nuance or coyness, as it's just a blast of earthy onion orange. Grainy, feed stock supporting character that finishes meaty and bitter. Body probably borders medium and light. If you enjoy big audacious journeys into what hops can do, than this is a pretty good adventure.

Poured a cloudy yellow-orange body with an acidic orange juice aroma with a pulpy, orange juice taste as it mixes orange and slight tropical fruit (more than grapefruit) sweetness and slight acidic sourness with a crisp, biting finish and low bitterness.

Appearance is opaque grapefruit puree with pretty much no head aside from the thinnest lace ring.

Smell is minty pine eucalyptus, a bit aerated, with underlying biscuit.

Taste is lemon, mint and pine with a sharply acidic bitterness and a soft, light froth and very dry finish.
