The beer is a cloudy and nice looking pale orange-yellow color that looks nice. The smell has a fantastic dank note with a light mix of different tropical notes but the strongest being a grapefruit note. The taset has roughly The bready malt note is nice and sweet alongside an acidic orange note that brings it all together before a citrus finish. There is a slight boozy note that hurts it a little but it's overall pretty good. The beer has medium body and very smooth. It's fairly delicious even if it is a bit heavy.

16 oz. can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.

Orange haze with a long-lived white fluffy cap.
Large enticing tropical nose featuring aromas of mango, passion fruit and sweet pear juice.
Dank. Same tropical flavors with some added tangerine character and sweet bread malt.
Soft, weighty and frothy with medium to low carbonation. Finish is mostly clean with some light prickly acidity.
Rather drinkable considering the 11% ABV but rich and sweet enough to slow my pace.

I generally am not a fan of triples, that being said this was an enjoyable hot Sunday afternoon in the air conditioning brew.

Canned on 1/21/18

Pours an opaque dark golden orange with a slight finger of foamy white head; retention is solid, receding to a thin collar and tons of speckled lacing walling the glass.

Aroma just a great mix of stank, fruit, and cream; dank orange, sticky red grapefruit, with faintly creamy underripe mango and peach toward the finish.

Taste brings a smooth marriage of dank hops, wet moss, and sticky tropical fruits; boozy hops with rampant tropical undertones, including mango, peach, dank pineapple, and citrus cream round out a profile hinders so slightly by its booziness.

Mouthfeel shows balanced lighter carbonation and a sticky, medium body that holds its own against a brooding booziness and feels surprisingly mild and drinkable against its 11% ABV. Bit of a hop prickle adds some grit to an otherwise clean, lightly boozy finish.

This one was on its way to something brilliant without the boozy tones holding it back; still, it’s loaded with balanced flavor and a ridiculous level of drinkability for an 11% TIPA. One of the most enjoyable TIPAs I’ve encountered to-date, and was on the verge of so much more.
